Have a couple things in mind, possibly something similar to this trip in a different location. Hut trip in the Selkirks, or possibly the Lyngen Alps in Norway.

Got busy with work and riding bikes, added day 7. Enjoy.

Regarding basecamp crappers.... the best setup is a 5 gallon bucket complete with one of those toilet seats. Line the bucket with a big biodegradable corn starch bag (http://www.biobagusa.com/catering.htm) and toss the bag into a crevasse every 2 days (or 3 if it's always below freezing). The luxury setup is to tape foam to the plastic seat but only do that if you're sure it's going to stay below freezing - else you risk the dreaded smear.

Hah, pretty ridiculous. Glad we stuck with the plan to fly out of Anchorage. Would've been hosed if we chose SE AK again.
