Rory=wheels off. Tigers running out of birdie chances.
Damn, wish I had followed the computers with that schwartzel pick.
HOLY SHIT
tiger isn't looking for a birdie. holy shit! what a shot.
Insane. This is the way golf should always be.
Am I just stupid or is there really no way to watch 17/18 on the cbs webcast?
the field 4 the win
Epic final round
Epic indeed, one of the best I've ever seen. Day and Scott played like animals. Tiger showing the potential to get back to his old self. I'm guess it won't be long before he's tearing the field apart like old times. Kind of sad seeing Rory disintegrate like he did. Amazing final day in Augusta.
yesterday was crazy fun to watch. Tiger had it ...don't miss a short gimme for par on 12 and don't miss a short eagle putt and he is in the clubhouse at -12 and then the pressure for those other guys gets cranked way up having to chase down Tiger. Unreal final round.
I thought it was one of the best Masters. Tiger left a lot of shots out on the course. You have to give it to Schwartzel . Four birdies on the last 4 is frickkin tough. If you look at the replay of Tiger on the 18th after his second shot, it looked to me like he hurt something. He was limping coming up the 18th, but nobody said anything in the telecast. If you have it recorded look at it and tell me what you think. I am thinking he hurt his knee again, maybe wrong , but we'll see
definately saw the wince...
Yeah - i saw the pain too. A lot of little things that can act up. After his second shot on 15 I remembered why I hate him so much. He hits an absolutely amazing shot - High cut from 200+ on a firm top tier to 4.5 feet and he isn't even smiling. Dude needs to step back for a second and realize how much golf has given him, maybe enjoy it a touch. Until then, I'll keep rooting for him to miss 4 footers.
I don't know. Norman never recovered from his final round meltdown. Hope he learned something, but, never saw Tiger fold like that.
Speaking of Tiger, he seems to have that ailment that ageing pros get and Watson blamed for his downfall - an inability to hit the 4-6 footer. He's no spring chicken anymore, as my Mom used to say.
I played the game competitively through college, though a lot less now. I understand some people don't show emotion when they hit a good shot because they think it gives them some sort of competitive advantage or something. Its not like Tiger invented this approach to the game. I personally think they're douche bags and choose not to cheer for them when i watch golf and try to not play with them.
