I just watched a news article about the power of meditation (or prayer, if that's your thing). It reduces the occurance of the stress hormone coming out of your pituitary gland. That same hormone is responsible for supressing immune function. I'm sure there are many other repurcussions as well.
So, when you get anxious or stressed, I want you to put on some music, close your eyes, relax every muscle in your body, and go to your happy place for fifteen minutes. I'm thinking it's somewhere nipple deep. ;)

I'm think of you. I've got a ton of personal/family experience in this arena, with both positive and negative results. A positive attitude (which you obviously have plenty of) will help wonders. Melenoma is a scary thing, but they've come a LONG way in treatment techniques over the years.
Hang in there, AC. If there's anything I can do, please ask. I work at MIT in Cambridge and have access to all types of research on this topic. Just let me know.
AC after 3 pages I don't think I can say much that hasn't already been said but if my opinion means anything to you I AM ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED you can beat this. Your unwavering positive upbeat vibe is all I need to know ! My prayers will be with you. :)

Good vibes galore being sent your way. My wife is an oncology nurse up at the U, been there a long time now and she see's really good results with melanoma patients, especially those that catch it early like you seem to have.
My advice, go to the UofU for treatment. Best damn oncology hospital in the region.

Sorry to hear about what happened. My thoughts are with you. Be strong (as you always are).
Also, you should know that melanoma is considered one of the more "treatable" cancers and that new immunotherapeutic agents have been quite successful against it.
