Anyone know how much was gotten in LCC? How is it shaping up?
LCC received a foot of snow out of this storm and we got 6". We'll take all we can get.
Alta has been getting dumped on since yesterday afternoon and it barely stopped at 4pm today. Winter finally decided to show its face!
Skiing is far beyond expectations...another few inches possible tonight, should be sweet manana...
You still haven't answer my question.
The reason I do not drive/ski down in LCC/BCC is the crowd factor. I find that skinning past/behind 100+ other powder heads, all in the same pursuit, takes away from the BC experience. Honestly, I have witnessed both physical and verbal confrontations in the Cottonwoods. It's a disgrace and only getting worse as more and more heads venture into the goods that the Cottonwood Cyns. offer.
It's the same situation that has happened to surfing and will continue to progress with the increase of every Tom, Dick and Harry that straps on a pair of skins and goes "backcountry".
and once again, another storm and northern Ut. gets the shaft....
our storm will come.. hopefully..
dude, U can drive a hour south and ski alta. lots of people drive 5-6 hours, one way, to ski some shitty EC mtn.
so in conclussion, dont like it move 2 sandy, or STFU
