    No. Utah what the F*&k....

    Why is this happening?

    Every fucking resort to the north (WA., MT., OR., BC) and to the south (LCC, BCC, WY., San Juans) is/or is going to get hit while we sit here with absolutely nothing.

    What is the deal?

    cc, you forgot to mention Vermont in your rant--

    [URL="http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=BTV&llon=-72.674583&rlon=-71.784583&tlat=45.217917&blat=44.330417&smap=1&mp= 0&map.x=49&map.y=71"]

    but fifteen inches is not a bad start....you guys will have your fair share. a bad snow season for LCC is a great season for anywhere in Northern Vermont.

    and I am going to utah this winter break so I am rooting for you guys to get all the snow

    Hell, we're even looking at a forcasted 8-12" here in MN, this could get things off to a decent start for everyone. Thanks to those who made chairs and drank too much a few weeks ago on the EC. The big guy seems pleased.

    Oh poor Utah

    Sorry cant feel to bad for you guys and gals. I hope you get snow but Utah always gets snow so a poor start is just not that big a deal. Try living in a place were 300 inches is a big season and a 75 inch base is great. Even last year with your poor season and our 2nd biggest february in history you still recieved more snow
    It will come

    I must agree that you can't bitch until you've lived in places where the average snow fall is 150 inches. That said, today at Alta was better than 90% of the ski days I've had in my life. Did you really think people were going to be sympathetic?

    PowMo averages 500 inches a year. Even if they get 400 inches it will probably end up being 100 inches a month (that's 25 a week). That's a lot of snow. It isn't even December yet-->relax. Just get drunk this weekend or go to BCC/LCC or Targhee or something.
    Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

    No place has is worse than CA right now. The least the Utards in LCC have some snow to ski on. Alta has a 25" base right now. Better than the 0" base we have in CA, and the storm we were supposed to get next week is getting thrown to the north.... again. This fucking SUCKS.

    I drove over Donner on Thanksgiving day and Castle Peak revealed nothing but dirt and rocks. Not a speck of snow anywhere to be found. And, no, the pathetic landing strip of fake snow at Boring Hell doesn't count.

    Powder Mountain's claim to 500 inches is false. That number came from the El Nino year of 83/84. It has never been matched. The closest it's got was 449 in '05 and even that is questionable.
