I would ask her what she thinks of the church group. See what she says but ask if she likes the church/ sermon /message and things she’s learning or if she really just likes going to hang out with friends. Ask what kinds of things they talk about. Then offer your perspective on religion and why you are not religious. Just tell her there are options and many religions she should learn about if interested so she can make her own educated decision about it.
My then 14 year old wanted to go to a church youth group with several friends so i was like, sure whatever. (we are not religious, though I was raised going to church ). I picked him up and asked him what they did - he said they sat around and talked about the holy spirit and it was really odd and uncomfortable. He said they asked him about the bible and he had no idea what the bible was. So at home we did some reading of a very basic children’s bible. (had one from a grandma). I said it was a good idea to learn about what millions of people believe and to have some reference. We also discussed many other religions so that he was educated. We did all this over a few weeks. He determined he is definitely not interested. (his words, “what a bunch of crap”)[emoji1787] But is educated now.
Also over the past year (he’s 16 now) with developments in the Middle East we have had a lot of discussion about what’s going on over there and the history and how complicated it all is etc. But having that basic knowledge of religions has been helpful for him.

I remember learning about world religions in my public Middle School and High School... its pretty foundational to understanding world history, as religon was kind of the reason for many of the worlds major conflicts. and how societies throughout history functioned.
