Back on track.. I mean the topic.. It's no mystery that (many?) teens with hormones raging think sex with an attractive teacher is a worthy goal.. But, in reality, ending up as a parent at age 15/16 after never really growing up.. and best scenario married to the person who made a super poor career ending decision bordering on rape, or definitely rape depending on the state laws.. that's definitely fucked up..


But so is messing around with people you work with, direct reports or bosses.. Any position of authority, perceived or real over someone you're flirting with is also sort of like rape.. The other party isn't in a position to comfortably say no to the advances.. or might be confused and infatuated like Monica Lewinsky was..

If it is a male teacher on a young girl student instead of a female teacher on a young male student.. is that "different"?? Sexual orientation also makes no difference. I know for a fact that one of our kids kindergarten teachers was gay.. So fucking what.. Makes no difference . Totally trusted them..

The kids on a teachers lap is a bit ironic.

Current rules say teachers can’t give hugs. Not for a job well done or a sports play that wins the game. No touching. I’m not even sure a high five is allowed. So yeah. No lap dances. And no blow jobs. That’s the new rules.

So, I completely forgot about this, but my first was 21 (I think) when I was 15. It was really no big deal, and she was hot as hell. She was a ski bum in Stowe when I went to school there. Sure, there were some jokes, but we were both consenting, and nobody was harmed. She tried to teach me everything she could think of.
Not everyone has this experience, but that was mine.
Granted, she was not a teacher or boss, or anything that had a power differential.

I can honestly say I never had any attraction whatsoever to a teacher when I was in middle school or high school, even young pretty ones. They weren't even on my radar. I was soley interested in girls my own age, and that took all my energy.

And years later, when I was a high school teacher, those girls (my students) may have been physically developed, but emotionally they just seemed so damn young it would have been absurd to me to think of them that way. Occasionally I would pat them on the shoulder or the back without really thinking about it, but that was the extent of any physical contact.

When my son was in Kindergarten he had a great teacher (female) and I’d have zero issues with a pat on the back or a high five or similar. I think social/age appropriate touch is fine. If I saw my son on the lap of a male kindergarten teacher, I don’t care what clown suit he was or wasn’t wearing,I’d be super suspicious and upset. Probably feel less threatened by a female teacher, because yes, most sexual predators are male. Perhaps that’s a faulty bias/naïveté on my part. Based on this thread anyway.

Google school policies and read them. Most are obviously worded to protect teachers from accusations. It’s common sense these days. I’m not a teacher, so I’m open to someone telling me I’m wrong. But I’d wager sitting on the lap of a teacher is probably not advisable in most settings.

You’re also talking to a guy whose previous brother has transitioned to my sister 4+ years ago, living with both of my parents, and I’m fairly certain my daughter may be bisexual. So my view on things these days have changed with experience.

Yeah, my kid is currently trying to figure out if he/they are trans, or just more drawn to alternative lifestyles. He/they have been going through this for a few years now.

I worked a job in Palm Springs ER, 100% of day shift was gay male nurses. I was literally the only straight guy. There were a lot of sexual unprofessional comments towards me, just light hearted hilarious shit. Basically probably what a women deals with every day. I had a blast on that 13week assignment.

So no, my Montana isn’t showing. Your assumption was inaccurate. I understand and sympathize for all the hate flying around in our country, it’s toxic, and a there’s no compassion.

That said, this thread is still about essentially fucking kids. That’s the core issue. Does your daughter still support teachers fucking their students? Or just female teachers doing do?

Yeah, whatever, totally supportive. My biggest thing is that no matter what, he is comfortable with who he is, has proper self esteem, and relates well and honestly with other people.
The rates of suicide, addiction, and other self-destructive behaviors around trans and trans curious people is astounding. He knows my history with self medication and addiction, and thus far has expressed no interest in drugs or alcohol.
But he had an amazing time at Dead and Company! He knew right away that he was with 50,000 of the least judgemental souls that he has ever been around. He lit up and grooved in a way I have never seen, he normally has really bad social anxiety, but it was gone. He was even dancing, and joking with all of the deadheads around him. It was revelatory.
(And yes, I am still not 100% in on the pronouns, we travel a lot in Spanish speaking countries, and he really doesn’t care how people address him).
He also still dresses like a sloppy ass dude.
So who knows. I am sure the first time he is actually attracted to someone will be very illuminating, whether gay, straight, or curly.

As for fucking students, 100% against this crap, family included. Not at all what I was talking about.

I spent some time in primary care covering another provider’s patients on maternity leave. Had maybe 6-8 trans men on testosterone. I read every chart from pediatric age to when we were seeing them. Basically we just monitored testosterone therapy, labs, side effects, worked with Med management with psychiatry.

The majority of these patients had interactions routinely with mental health providers usually around age 8-9, most had self harm/cutting history in early teen years, many had components of schizophrenia (per psychiatry notes).

Did I treat them with compassion? Hell yes. Their stories and lives were universally sad on many levels.

I will say that there were a handful of young teenage girls that wanted depo-provera shots (no period) and we’re contemplating their gender identity that also almost always had universally difficult, traumatic, and chaotic childhoods. Hard to know where to refer them to these days. Are they depressed, anxious, PTSD, if I don’t refer them to gender confirming care am I a bigot? If I send them to psychiatrist am I a bigot? What’s the right answer?

I’ve seen this stuff first hand in the clinical world, I suck at it, but I have compassion.

I think that's a little different than unannounced drag queen story hour.

In either case, I do think it's sad that parents would object. It's just incredibly sad there's so little compassion and strength of understanding manifested by any side of the issue.

Age appropriate, best practices for Pre-K - 3rd grade are different than those where kids might be or definitely are hitting puberty. Background checks FTW..

In the end, this is/was a 24 page thread spanning years with grown men, many who have children of their own, essentially fantasizing/fetishing sex with minors from people of a position of power. If the scenario was different (male teachers/male students or male teacher/female students) the thread wouldn’t exist. It’s a reflection of our culture.

I don't think I'd think differently of teacher girl. As long as the horny Student is 18+ and wants it? Why not.( apart from all the obvious reasons..)

It's just the teacher starting things that is weird and creepy. Being a teacher myself I do not understand that at all. But if you're young and straight out of University I can totally relate to someone Falling for a hot 18 year old 6 to 7 years younger than you.
