194 Devs were awesome skis. The 187 is the length for me and probably most other guys but the idea that a bigger guy couldn’t make use of a 193 fully rockered ski is silly. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a good seller though. I’m 5’7’’ and I would still have a ski like that in the rotation if I still lived out west.
I have OG 194 Devs mounted on the line, and at 6'3" 230lb it sometimes feels like there isn't a lot of ski in front of me. I would hesitate to go shorter without moving the mount point back, which would then really change the feel of the ski. The Devs seem to have a little more pronounced rocker through the middle of the ski though, at least judging by the profile pics on moments site. I forget the lingo 4frnt used, but the rocker matches the sidecut, and its noticable. I imagine messing with mount point on Devs will have way more impact on behavior than something with a flatter profile.
Not sure that adds anything, but I like shorter skis and wouldn't want to go short on a zero camber ski based on my Dev experience. So the market may be there for a longer Meridian, but maybe not. I'm not planning to buy skis this year unless I hit the lotto.
Reflect Tech was the matching sidecut & rocker profile. I too rode the 194 devs for a couple years as my one ski. My knees started to hurt after awhile from the weight of those bad boys. They were rocket ships when you let them run. You definitely shouldn’t mess with the mount on the devs with that reflect tech. I did and it made the ski all wonky.Quote:

Got them in some shallow, but lighter soft stuff the other day and they were very maneuverable and slashy. Precise slashes wherever and whenever you want but they also like an edge to edge style in fluff too. Super Fun.
Can confirm everything here. The 108 was my only ski halfway through 2019 while I was getting custom fat cats built. They more than hold their own in deep powder (I was on the 190), and hold a decent enough edge. For those not on the triple camber or full rocker train, the wildcat 108 is Moment’s closest 1 quiver ski IMO.Quote:

So in no way is this a comprehensive review, but...I skied one run on some 190 Deathwish 104's yesterday. Conditions were scraped off groomers with the bumped up, scraped off sift on the edges of the runs. I'm 5'11" and the skis are my son's who is 6'3". I kind of expected them to be a handful in the bumps at that length but they were totally intuitive and super easy to ski. I'd say they skied as well or better in those conditions than my QST 106's that I was on. I did notice a vague strange sensation like one ski wanted to carve away from me if I really tipped up the outside ski and weighted it completely, something I also noticed to a greater degree on my DWT's (112). But leaning way over on an icy groomer is so outside of my use case that I wouldn't care at all, and it may be a technique thing for me as my son said he didn't notice it.
Edge hold was as good as advertised. I could see using this ski for a quiver of one for somewhere like Snowbasin.
Hello! Trying to decide between wildcat 108 in 184 or 190. Im 5'10" 180lb and ski pretty aggressively. I have the 2015/16 Bibby's in 190cm. They dont feel like too much in trees and such. But I also only use them on deep days. I do love the way they freight train through chop! Also worth noting that I bought the 184 DW a couple of years ago and they feel too short. Not enough ski in front and they seem to get knocked around too much for my liking. I do want the WC108 to be versatile, which is why I am on the fence. Any thought or guidance? Ive been wrestling with this size dilemma for 3 years! Im even open just taking a vote at this point!

Get the 190. I’ve skied both the Wildcat/Bibby 190 for many years and now the wc108 190 for several too. The wc108 is very agile and quick which makes it feel quite a bit shorter imo. The extra running length helps when it firms up or gets variable too.Quote:

Before this advice, I also bought the DW 104 in 184 and found then too short as a 190 DW and 190 WC skier.
I agree with the one length and don't overcomplicate it. I had DW, Wildcats (not the 196), Meridian, Ghost Trains, and Meridian 117s. I pick the longest size and I am happy. I'm 6 feet tall 165 pounds and like my moments mounted plus 2 and 190 in length. It's easy to switch from a DW or Wildcat in any width to another.
