Is anyone surprised? This is how monopolies, or in this case, duopolies, work. Get you hooked and then squeeze your balls.

I suspect they will drop the price on their season pass. Too many people went Ikon versus Crystal. Haven't seen any issues with parking where Snoqualmie and Stevens are parking out every weekend. They dropped parking reservations a few weeks ago because they weren't needed.
Indy pass secured..
Are people going to jump back to the cheaper Epic pass?
The base pass plus prices for Child and 4&under seem to be incorrect at $519 and $319 respectively.
I bet the pendulum will swing back to Epic here in CO. Copper is the new Breck this season; Breck will be Breck again next season.
I’m thinking Ikon Base + A-Basin midweek might be the call?
Ikon has some transperson Pattiegonia shilling for them:

Wow.
That renewal is inthane
Started on MC
Went to ikonic
Now? Wtf?
I got $20. I probably do it with the long season and makes a trip to Mammoth worth it. Epic doesn’t give spring…not like they have spring riding anyway. The senior Kirkwood only pass is a good deal. $450 no blackouts.
You saw DV is now subject to reservations, right?
Its interesting to me that they claim that there are "no blackouts" on the full pass, when in reality places like Jackson are blacked out weeks and months in advance for any high use periods. I understand the need to control crowds, and its also quite clear that Alterra has limited leverage with some of the marquee partner resorts, but the concept that you are getting unfettered access with the full pass is simply not true, and I dont understand how they can market that.
Can we avoid using hate slurs here?
Pattiegonia is a drag queen, who use she/he/they pronouns. I normally love their content (pro environmentalism, holds corporate sponsors to a very high standard), but this is disappointing.
