We got $100 each for wife and daughter and $20 for me. We had two spring trips planned that covid canceled..booting up in the parking lot at JH when they closed. Our fault for even being there.

Since we went back to MC the next year we won't get a discount for renewing so these will be more or less useless.

Shrug. It is what it is.

Same. I came here to see if it was a scam before putting in my login.

Like they aren’t going to just raise pass prices a bit more next year to cover it.

At what point are the cheap mega-passes not cheap enough to lure people in anymore?

got $10 too, haven't gotten an ikon since that season (this had nothing to do with that decision) but was maybe going to again next year to take some trips, at least aspen and steamboat

The funniest part to me is that the settlement essentially costs Ikon nothing. It's vouchers and pass discounts. Literally nothing out of pocket. How the fuck does that happen?

Ummm, the lawyers will want their compensation, and not in vouchers.

No new mountains announced (yet) and a bunch of stupid perks (Outside+ membership, gear discounts) are being used to justify pricing. Undecided on renewing for next year.

Couldn't buy this years pass, but considering for next year. On the email today they mention spring access to 6 resorts starting April 10. Does anyone have an idea on which 6 resorts those will be? Hoping to get some spring skiing in at Palisades on next years pass.

That's a pretty large increase on top of a pretty large increase last year. Over $1000 for a full ikon, even for renewal.

Gawd I’m Sofaking over this bullshit. Sometimes I truly loathe being a resident of a town ruined by ikon.

Significant increase with no new locations. Pretty lame to be honest. Still a good deal for us since my kids are both still on the cheaper child pass w $100 discount. Was at least hoping that they would go the Epic route and add one of their little feeder bumps in PA (KSL owns two of them ,Blue and Camelback) for some half day after school skiing with the kids, but for some reason they aren't doing that ,even though Epic has. Oh well

    Ikon Pass

Ikon base at $829. Remember when it was $649 only a few years ago?

$1159 for Full. The least they could do is add summer MTB haul to that.

Wasn't Base $549 at one point? That's what I seem to remember paying a few years back.

I have a free place to stay in Deer Valley which makes it hard. I got enough days in this year before starting a new job to make it worthwhile, but the rest of the family didn't really get in enough. I hate that they push the decision so early.

    It might have been. JFC.

I miss the days you could get day tickets anywhere for a reasonable price instead of being locked into your pass’ resorts. My family and I are on Ikon, but can’t ski with any friends on Epic, without paying $250+ for a fucking window ticket if we wanted to join someone on a whim. Fuck this whole shit.

I looked through my emails and it looks like the 1st ikon I bought (which was a base pass in the first year) was $599 in April 2018. Kiddo's pass cost $149 ($299 - $150 discount for buying an adult pass).

But I am kinda screwed, because there are no other viable options for me, other than Epic, and I have a place to stay in Winter Park and none near Epic mountains. Yes, I am sure the Loveland and ABasin folks will chime in and tell me how awesome they are, but Loveland is a day skiers mountain (the Basin too, to a lesser extent), and I don't have places to stay anywhere near them.
