Which is still nowhere near as big as the wound channels and organ disrupting internal shock waves as from a proper rifle round ala 308.

.22 to your ear hole is clean. If that's your metric
Yup. I've heard all the pros and cons, but I'd like to hear the gun "enthusiasts" opinion on what Jesus Will be Packing when he returns. Will he be super human strong and carry a 50 cal? Stick with the military decision on 22 cal? Enquiring minds need to know
why would he be returning?
To own the Libs, duh
Yes, the police in America are basically a legitimized protection racket in a system that criminalizes poverty.
Also, can one of you ammosexuals explain to me how having a gun to protect your home works when you're not home? Usually the best time to steal someone's shit is when they're not home. Or at least when they're not watching. Is there some kind of automated system I don't know about? Does it use AI to murder the neighborhood children and/or deer?
Ya admit it's hella fun. Went to a gun show with a buddy in the mid 90s right before Brady Ban. He bought an AK clone and 500 rounds of ammo, 2 big magazines. We went to his dad's farm and shot up some junk cars he had there. Good times. I think he sold that gun awhile ago.
No issues with having something like that way out in the country. Just GTFO with it in the trunk of your car or behind the seat in your bro dozer..
« Police say a gunman in a bulletproof vest has opened fire on the streets of Philadelphia, killing five people and wounding two boys before he surrendered to responding officers. The shootings took place over several city blocks, and dozens of spent shell casings were found. «
huh, surrendered
Wrong thread, take it to the guns thread so you and the other limp dicks can rejoice

Nobody buys these highly efficient killing machines without at least a slight notion that it's nice to have the capability to go on a rampage should they so decide to someday. Otherwise there'd be a huge market for some kind of non lethal plastic bullet rounds that work great for target practice and making a lot of noise but not so great for said mayhem...
And, any use against the United States government/military or local law enforcement is treason regardless of whether or not you agree with the direction that government has gone.. You would be in violation of The Constitution.... 2nd A was never intended to allow for revolt against the US federal government. It was to allow for the slave patrols and defending the USA against other nations..
It's treason if you lose. It's rebellion against tyranny if you win.
In the context of the late 18th century, I was under the impression that part of the rationale behind the second amendment was to allow for state-level citizen militias (yes, analogous to the modern National Guard) as they had proven so important in the early days of the Revolution and would be an effective check against the federal government turning into some sort of monarchy or dictatorship. Is that revisionist?
Yes.
My understanding is that the intention was to bolster defenses against foreign invasions and give the States control over their militias.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The "security of a free State" is referenced, not tyranny. IN practice, the Whiskey Rebellion is a case.
Under Article I § 8 of the Constitution, the states transferred to Congress the power "to provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel Invasions" and "to provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia."

False, the state level militias were only allowed to handle slave revolts (word State added just before it was ratified) but primarily so they would be ready to rock should we be attacked by another OUTSIDE threat. The original words were actually "for the security of the free COUNTRY. Southern states objected for fear calling up the militias might be a back door way to force emancipation.. True story.
Quote:
“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; a well armed and well regulated militia being the best security of a free country: but no person religiously scrupulous of bearing arms, shall be compelled to render military service in person.”

That whole debate is stupid when the “tyrannical government” has a few thousand AH-64 Apaches.

Plus the newly formed United States was broke. The colonial dollar was close to worthless (literally the OG Money Printer Go Brrr) and they owed France a ton of money. The last thing Franklin wanted was to increase the federal payroll.
Bulletproof vest guy is a bit of a head scratcher. Like 'don't kill me because I want to go to pound me in the ass prison'?
"Three of the dead victims were men who ranged in age from 20 to 59... a fourth deceased victim was a male believed to be between 16 and 21. Two boys were injured, a 2-year-old and a 13-year-old"
339 mass shootings so far in 2023, and today only the 185th day of the year. Even money there's another one tonight.
This country is circling the fucking drain.
