Only because the internet has been on repeat for at least a decade now and I like people to come on vacation and have fun...somewhere someone what asking How to Wanker Park...here goes!
There are no secrets. Just expect that it will be busy AF and if it isn't, be pleasantly surprised. Gone are the days when you can have a surgical plan that will see you thought. Flexibility is the key. With the exception of the Pioneer, there is always a Plan B or C available. The bottle necks are parking and liftlines.
Parking - If Plan A isn't working, do something else. If you are early (can't tell you when that is), The Jane is the way. Parking in the garage in town or at Murdoch's in Fraser and taking the express bus is a good way to go.
Lifts - If you get to the bottom of a lift and the line looks unbearable, get on a different lift. This is the game, you ski away from the CFs, not into them.
My wife has weekends off and goes out almost everyday no matter what. She claims it is no big deal if you just keep on the move.
The Transit Center - It is actually awesome. I mean it is a bus station with a brewery and a coffee kiosk with good affordable food, bathrooms, parking, lockers, a ski shop etc.
Mountain Navigation - Don't read the signs. Look around and see how the dirtbags and patrol get around. Keep your eye open for traverses and routes through the trees. Its not that hard but it is a big different.
When all else fails, ride the Pony Express.
Somebody is gunna buy it no doubt; but I don't think it'll be any of the major corps. - Boyne said no, Powdr said no, Vail said no.. doesn't seem like Alterra wants it based on feedback I've heard from the Sugarbush crowd, all I'm sayin' is I don't want it on the Ikon pass
We do have a pretty dang nice golf course up there tho so maybe Donnie is one of the interested parties, who knows
Well if you're someone that has Ikon and skis Jay, it's a win.
I'll end up with 22-24 days on my Ikon pass so the new price is still a no brainer. Still paying for a local pass as well but didn't get my $ worth this year. Chalk that up as a donation.

I experienced a ridiculously crowded day at Snowbasin two years ago, just pre covid. It took place on a weekend after it hadn't snowed in a while and Alta/Snowbird was interloged, but, still, this may not be good for that mountain.
I had a huge crush on the French exchange girl in that film. I just looked her up. She just turned 60!
Undecided on ikon... deadline for renewal price?
Sorry your mom blew up Ricky
iKon and epic pass holders get 2 free days at tamarack id.
This season till the end
Does anyone know how long the early season price is valid? Looking to capture lowest price at the last possible moment

Almost June I think?
Did it go up from last year? Feels more expensive...or I just didn't ski that much this season cuz it didn't snow. Either way I'm not thrilled about buying a pass.
