Anyway, for comfy clothes: Prana or Vuori will have you feeling like you’re ready for Walmart in your PJ’s but the FA won’t have any problem bringing you another double because you look like casual Friday at the firm.

Oh shit, how did I forget about Polo?!
In almost any public situation, there was always one guy who reeked of the stuff.
On the topic I’ve always thought shops and duty frees selling cologne was fucking stupid.
Hey guy, you know what you need? A couple-three big squirts of Drakkar before you climb into that enclosed tube with a few hundred other people.
Recently was reminded that Newark is the worst airport.
Insane layout and sprawl, incorrect signs making connecting flights an utter crapshoot
Adversarial employees to the point of sabotage. Being unhelpful is a badge of honor
Local people who cannot self organize to save their life. Heavily accented complaints with ample hostility
^And that's its good points.
I got PTSD having been raised in the armpit of the country.
The mention of Obsession by Calvin Klein brought back some vivid memories of 1980's college dance floors. I don't think the sorority girls were allowed to wear anything else.
As for perfume/cologne in the airliner cabin, how can anyone smell that over the JA fuel they're piping directly through those little air nozzles?
Fuck those little nozzles. I close mine and push the others as far away from me as I can. If the guy next to me opens it and it remotely blows on me, I kindly ask that he turn it back towards his zone, which 100% of the time leads to them closing it all together. Unless you're a fatass I don't know anyone who enjoys that shit blowing on you at full blast.

That's so disgusting. Did the explosive poo incident happen while the passenger was getting on? I'd have to assume it happened mid-air otherwise they'd never have left.
I think we've all been one bad taco away from doing this on our way home from Cabo, right?
I keep telling people that eating 3 chili dogs from the Varsity in Concourse B is a bad idea.
Especially before a transatlantic flight.
WTF is happening?? Air travel is literally worse than inner city pub trans now.

Hey man, we’ve all been seconds away at some point….Ask me how I know.
I decorated the walls and toilet in a building lobby bathroom once. It was bad. Total blowout. Nuke the bathroom from orbit and build a new one. How I didn't get any on my shoes or white pants is beyond me. The only wardrobe casualty was a small dot on the corner of my right shirt cuff. I washed the spot and aggressively rolled and tucked my sleeves for the rest of the day. A couple people came in and tried to use the stall next to me while I was wiping myself. Poor souls. They made gagging noises and left. I got out of there before anyone else reported it and maintenance showed up.
CVG has been an abject shithole ever since Delta pulled its hub, and I'm not even sure there's a bar/restaurant open that you can grab a drink at most days, but that didn't stop former Bengal Pac Man Jones from getting drunk and arrested there at 7:30 this morning:
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/new...s/70821488007/
"Former Cincinnati Bengal Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested Monday by police at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, according to jail records.
Jones, 39, was booked into the Boone County Detention Center around 7:30 Monday morning. He is facing charges of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening, Captain Kevin Klute of the Boone County Jail said in an email.
The Airport Police Department is listed as the arresting agency.
Airport police were called at 6 a.m. to assist the flight crew on an outbound flight about an unruly passenger. The assenger was arrested prior to takeoff and taken to Boone County Detention Center, according to Mindy Kershner, spokesperson for the airport"
Here's a question for the collective. I have TSA Precheck and it works well. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 15 minutes to clear security. OTOH, I don't really fly for work, so I'm only on an airplane a few times per year. However, I still show up fairly early for my flights because I've heard horror stories about ridiculously long lines at Sea-Tac airport and times where they've made the Precheck lines open to everyone. I'm torn between thinking this is BS because those of who have gone through the trouble of getting TSA Pre deserve better service, but the other side of the coin is the greater good. I think I'd lean toward the greater good, but I would also be damn pissed if I missed a flight because they opened the TSA Pre line to everyone.
Pre-gaming in the parking lot?
Anyone that has had the pleasure of flying through EYW, I just finished a take off on an entire airport update down there.
Lots of power feeds for charging pedestals.
May be reminiscing about the days we had to walk out on the tarmac to board the planes. Not quite sure what the total scope of the project is yet.
If I find a nice architectural detail, I will share.
I was flying out of CVG every other weekend for the entirety of 2021. Given that it was COVID, it was absolutely deserted and a complete shithole. I was there in March and it really had not changed at all, so I can see how that's accurate lol.
Ditto. 4 flights through SeaTac in the last 2 months and pre-check is always pre-check only. To the point where I flew a few months prior with the wife. She didn't bring her NEXUS card so she couldnt get precheck on her boarding pass. I went through and sat down for 2 hours. Took her 1hr 45 to get through security lol.
I have a feeling it's probably days where there's a huge amount of cruise ship passengers going back home. I'm sure it's rare, but I have heard of it happening.
I used to always figure if I got there an hour before my flight that was ample time (unless I need to check bags), but all the horror stories have caused me to increase it to more like an hour and a half, but seems like I still get through security in five minutes then I'm just sitting around waiting.
She shouldn't have needed it. You enter your known traveler number when purchasing the ticket, right?Quote:

No mixing of Precheck and non-check that I have ever seen.
However at least at Seatac, one can go online and schedule a Spot Saver appt that gives a 30 min window for access that will let you cut the regular line and get placed in an express line, ie 11:15am appt would be good for access between 11-1130am and lets you get to damn near the front of the regular line.
TSA precheck is probably faster than that on average, but a few weeks ago when the TSA lines were 1.5-2hrs long the Spot Saver option was faster than my Mrs who was in the Precheck line.
PSA: I always use the Pre-check lane at the far south end of the terminal (checkpoint 1). It seems like that one is never busy and it's Clear and TSA Pre only.
United cancelled my DEN-EWR tomorrow morning. I was lightning fast on the rebook, less than 3 min from getting the cx txt. Middle seat > no seat. Now the flight is deep in standby land.
So far on our trip LAX good. The One World lounge was sweet. Heathrow is a shit show. Hanover had a 45 minute security line but other wise was fine. Trains from hear on our until we do Milan to JFK which I expect to suck and then home to San Diego.
