To be honest though, it's not my joke. Clarkson's I think. Everything from Italy that's not made in Maranello is apparently just a Fiat Panda or 500.

Daily triples and 7500rpms reliably with a smooth and steady pull above 4500. It certainly has its limits and is a yeoman's car, but damn is it fun! Love the drivetrain, with stock power the chassis is more than adequate.

Part 1 of 2 that needs replacing. Planning to start doing N/A mods to push towards 300whp+ (from estimated 260 now) while keeping it a comfy daily. If it's preferred I can start a new thread to not dilute this one.

Seen several X3s around this week and really like the styling. Good looking ride for the class, I'd expect it handles relatively well too with a low center of mass and good footprint.

That Alfa will be garbage. Most likely sharing the Ghibli platform. They are doing a good job of ruining Maserati.

What's so special about a two ton, $1.5M turd that has two V8s strapped to it with 4 turbos that still only makes 1000hp. Moreover where the own producers of said turd recognize this to the point that will not give up the rights to Top Gear to have them run it around their track. Not to mention "special editions" warrant just a different color of paint. Yuck

I got a chance to drive an Aston Martin Rapide S the other weekend for about 30 min...yee-owza. 1st time I've ever been in anything that expensive, probably the last too. For a 4 door sedan, it moved along. Exhaust note sounded like a 50 pieces of canvas getting ripped at the same time.

I have to admit that that is one fine Aston 4door!!!! But only because it looks like a coupe. ;) At 6'3", I doubt I'd have much room sitting in the back seat of that thing, though! But who cares about knees when you are flying thru the S -turns in an Aston????? :D :D
