oh no, the boat thing was a couple years back (at least the one I'm referring to), the old motorboat in the WB shoulder (near Georgetown IIRC).

No, the boat thing was years ago and is kind of a joke here....Some idiot just left it in the right lane WB on Gtown Hill and caused huge backups. Everyone I talked to at Loveland that day asked each other if they’d seen The Boat. The semi to the left was stuck and everyone had to go down to one lane to get around it, then go back to the left lane to get around The Boat [emoji23]

Ha, it did look like a CDOT truck blocking both lanes of traffic with cones forcing people through a checkpoint but no idea. Was anyone traveling west when this shit was going down today?

Yess!! the boat!! i got through there after the boat was scuttled, but before the semi got stuck. Yeah, you're right, it was in the fucking lane, not even the shoulder. I think 40 was closed until like 10:30 that day too for avalanche control. Good storm. Ha!!

[emoji23] Good times. Today could rise to boat level shit show, I got up early and through the pass already, seen a few cars off the road, couple 18 wheelers being towed eastbound, and an accident all but shut down eastbound before the tunnel. Hazmat closure at the tunnel at 7am I believe too.

Didn’t get around to getting the Blizzaks on the truck, wish I had. Some slipping with Cooper AT3s and 400lbs in the bed. Real slick

was heading back from fairplay last night and the line of traffic headed over hoosier and down 285 was epic
throw in a couple semis that have no clue where they are
why can't people just go chill out why are they in such a rush to get home
it must have taken hours for them to get home last night

Headed up to the basin yesterday morning. Got caught in the shitshow of the tunnel closed coming back. Fun stuff. Anyone else see the condo/apt fire in keystone? Condolences to those who have lost, was a crazy sight to see.

I think the boat was two winters ago, 16-17. And I too was in that traffic and drove by it. Not sure where I was headed (since I usually go to WP and wouldn't have seen it), probably LL.

Skied breck yesterday, 2 hours from highlands ranch up 70, 2.5 hours home on 285, only bad traffic was just after silverthorne to the breck exit. Great day overall, amazing conditions for any time of year
