Really, I assume thats sarcasm? I love POV videos and don't get all the hate for them on here, but jesus dibs this one is horrible just like the other one you posted. Mini TR from Friday...
Found ourselves breaking trail up Argenta - again - around 8am. Roadside choss, so crowded, gotta get there early or might as well go the the bird. Oh wait we saw one other party the whole morning...
The headwall was thigh deep fluffy goodness, great stability, cold as balls. We should have skied that but other plans led us to the top of Kessler, battle skinning and tree assists helping in staying warm

After a few scary encounters with angry cornices we found the entrance to the mower: boney and super sketch (downclimbing icy choss with skis on and mandatory airs). The sluffs were moving fast and packing punch, slabs up to 6" deep were releasing left and right on the death crust.

Skied up towards Silver then down the south side then went up and skied south face of Patsy into Alta. Good stuff. Knee deep overhead blower. Had a few pockets of sluffy stuff moving on us on the steeper bits, but it was easy to get out of the way and let it run. Can't believe the south facing stuff was skiing sooo good. Saw a few parties out, the worst part was getting past the snowbird parking zoo to get to the upper Alta lot.

wholy tamolie bird was redic, feelin bad for those who skied knee deep in the bc!:fm: little cloud, gad chutes and baldy waist-chest deep! birds mid-mountain numbers: 3 feet in 24 hrs; 7 feet in 4 days. and thats no lie.

Well, it started off as one of the best days of the year, until I heard a pop and my knee give out. Sean Zimmerman on Ski Patrol was awesome in helping me out. I just friggen moved here so I can do this stuff more. Great day to finish my season with.

No better feeling than being balls deep, or deeper, much deeper in this case, in the HO! Bird did not suck today, caught cirque rope drop off my first tram ride this morning and pillaged the whiteroom all the way back to the tram. Cant wait for knucklehead. Pics hopefully coming soon.

pac man skied 22 some sympathetic releases on shoulder but sluff was manageable as was the steep shoulder of 23
good turns to the hc valley floor.
skined back up the boundry chutes some naturals observed. All seson of knockin snow down to protect the gar bears guest on woodlawn has left the top a bit thin;)

Guild line well that shits always $$$ bottom at mine was going mank skinner up to flanis was arduous the little bit of sun and green housing manked w facing
5:30 drop S. to 210
still surprisingly soft although East aspects were softer.
A ski cut across E bowl to flanis only tracks observed in upper silly fork some meadow skippers wigglin;)

Excellent shots SkiBumOfVT. SFB, thanks for the POV. After a sketchy season like this one, I was on the fence about heading out again today with so much new snow but your vid showing the conditions contributed to one of the best days of the year. Another best day ever.

We were skinning up flag by ten AM or so and then I skied solo around Alta until about seven this evening and there were still several people on the mountain when I left. By the end of the day Alta looked like the Bird from the road—hammered.

Throughout the day, nothing was moving very much, hardly any instabilities noted at all (at least by us), and we dug two pits, one south facing and one north facing. At the end of the day, the snow was getting heavy below 9K, above 10.5K—it was still amazing—but visibility went from nil to not that bad, and then back again. Unfortunately, the clouds parted and the sun came out around seven, so who knows what tomorrow will be like in the upper elevations?

You're right SkiFishBum, about people making posts about skiing in bounds on a thread titled "Wasatch Conditions".

Anyway, I did enough damage to myself today in bounds. Hope I get to venture into the backcountry next year.

It's all good. I'm glad I got my crash and burn ski injury out of the way back in January when the snow sucked. :)

Awesome this morning about 8500' or so on north through west aspects, so I think yesterday's sun did no harm. Today's sun should do something though. I predict lots of debris piles and crusts by this evening.

Skied some W-NW facing shots in White Pine today. Creamy, Fast, Powder with less ski penetration than previous days. About shinn deep. CT 14 Q1 on a West face at around 10,000 failing around 14'' down on a crust from when the sun must have come out a few days ago. Triggered a small 25 ft wide 14'' deep soft slab that did not run far on a rocky steep section. Great turns for may.

Creamy is the word of the day at The Bird. The first two laps off the Road werefresh - - it was tracked out by 11:00. Also, by 11:30, the snow below the top of the mid-Gad lift started to get heavy.
It seems that the resort went from winter to summer in 1 day. Cliff Sports is closed. So is Chickadee. This is important, because if you park your car at the top of chickadee, you are walking back up. Valet parking at the Cliff Lodge is free (as always), and a great option.

++It was still awesome this morning++ Skied the Baldy main chute today. Unfortunately, the new snow ripped out down to the sun crust and ran all the way to apron while other aspects were still holding up well, albeit a little wind scoured along the ridges... but yeah, probably not for long under blue sky's. Bring on the corn harvest.

Just a couple shots from the last few days. Today was incredibly windy up in maybird. I was mostly on n facing today. Not good skiing, but I've been spoiled these last few days.
