We are getting FUCKED by old Uncle Sam this year. Having 2 married peeps actually working for the whole year and no dependents and no ownership of house or nothing = boned...
I got up this morning and that little voice in my head said "Sleep in." I listened for a little while and then said fuck it. The voice went off again, "Are you crazy?!?!" Yes I am, shut-up. The voice managed to get me to dilly dally a little longer. Then I finally said screw it and jumped in the car. All during the drive the voice kept going, "Dude, you're nuts." But I didn't listen and just kept driving. When the wind was so bad on 88 it actually slowed my car down by about 20 mph (despite my V8), the voice came back again. This time it just laughed...like AKA. But I kept driving. 6 was running by some miracle, so I jumped on. On the way up I heard an awful sound. Are the snowblowers on? "Nope, that the fucking ice you moron." Zach's looked like a complete ice rink, the sound coming from the people skiing it was awful, and the wind was hammering everything else. I took one run down Ooops and it was coral reef covered by an inch of "fresh." That's when I finally listened to the damn voice, got back in the car, and drove home. :(Quote:

We got into Kirkwood on Thursday which was the sickest of our 3 day stint there. Something felt very wrong driving home today with dry snow hitting the windshield, but we got kicked out of the place we staying.
I'm planning on bringing up some 215cm boards for next weekends spring snow festivities.

Me & Cinders actually got to ski with 666, and Slim(?) for all of 2 runs :eek:
He was skiing the lower mtn with us mere mortals. We bailed when he headed up The Wall ;)
We had fun. Yes, it was iced courdroy on the groomers, with a bit of fluff on top. But most all the tree's were do-able, if a bit knobbly. We didn't bother checking out the Backside. Was it even open?
Sentinel was the best we could find in the end.
Some blown in deepness hard skiers right, under the cliff. Or on the other side of the bowl in the tree's, (rabbit runs ?) and down the gully to Timbercreek.
I even got a surprise Birthday Party (4/14 baby !), at the end of the day, back at the Bus.
Best Gift: "Learn to Ski Downhill in a Weekend" :D published in '91. Color photo's of some "really cool" one pieces.
Sunday at Sugarbowl was Facking Excellent !!!!! :eek: :D :cool: :p
