I don't ski. Skiing is for old people.

summit stage thirded...
I usually stay in Frisco or Silverthorne to split the difference between options. I've used the stage the past few years & it has worked very well. Now (post-college), the new job = renting a car. I'll be around that week too....but won't be your personal shuttle:)
They are very close proximity and I've skied them all this year (except Bachelor). My friend put this trip together as a "get away from the wife and kids for 5 days" kind of trip. Just 6 college buddies drinking, skiing and hanging out. Again, I probably wouldn't have picked Breckenridge, but I've never skied in CO, so any mountain is at least a taste of your snow.
It somewhat like you coming to ski Bachelor or Baker when SLC, Vail, etc. are so close to you. People do it to try something new. Although I can't blame you for coming to Baker. The amount of snow that mountain gets is unreal.
10 hours until the plane flight...
I totally don't get all this Breck hating. I went there last Feb (from the PNW by the way) and had an awesome time. The Lake Chutes area was amazing. More 45+ degree lines than you could ski in a trip. I guess if it weren't for that I would have been bored, but that certainly made up for it.
That being said, if I were to get on a plane and shell out $ to leave the PNW, I would go to Utah, not Colorado. Oh wait, that's right .... I'm headed to Alta tomorrow.
All you need to know is Jakes Dive Bar. Learn it, live it, love it. People ski Breckenridge?
Ignore the haters. There's some good stuff on 10, then anything E/6/T-bar/Imperial should keep you busy the rest of the time
I can't believe this thread has lasted this long without anyone suggesting that sorrybro try eating and drinking at the Search Function Bar and Grill, with its extensive menu and widely varying cuisine. Also, Search Function trail is easily the gnarliest line at Breck, imo.
Within days, Breck is opening "Snow White" which is 150 acres of 30-35 degree pitches just west of Lake Chutes accessible via a 5-10 minute hike from the top of the Imperial Express.
