Yup. I didn't ride with them. CS did though. They took off the afternoon I got there.
Those guys were cool as hell. One of them drove CS back to slc since he couldn't drive his car.

Funny, I met them at a gas station!
I saw the Canfield, and went to chat them up...(Lance C. is a 'Teton Freedom Rider') and we ended up having some mutual riding friends. They seemed pretty chill. The older one was taking the younger ones to De-Virginize' them. I hope they had a good time!
CS, bummer but you are the MAN!! Any shots of the run-out after the landing? I'm just trying to put the whole gap in perspective in my head. Heal up and keep at it!
I've got a vid put together in final cut pro. If anyone knows that program (or the regular version) and can help me get some audio on and get it rendered and ready to put up, I'd be very grateful.
yeah rideit, those guys were super cool. As kidwoo said, one was gracious enough to drive me back home since I couldnt drive the stick. A few of the pics in my other thread are of some of there crew.
In other news, I just got back from the hand specialist, and assuming my insurance covers it, I go under the knife on Monday to put screws in the hand.
this, from one of the smartest, most mechanically inclined guys on this board. ;)
I don't have it, but those two parts should be really easy. try going to the help menu and search add music and render. should be a piece of cake, especially since you have done the hardest part of editing the video.
That's good news! I feel your pain though. My left middle finger and ring finger both got hurt on our trip down there. It's been almost 3 weeks and they're still a little swollen and tender. Range of motion is pretty good and the pain isn't too bad. I'm guessing I just sprained them badly.
Man reading that manual is painful. I spend most of the time trying to figure out the proprietary lingo and where to find the application on the screen. This is the most complex version they make.......unfortunately it's way over my head at this point. I'll get it tonight.
I've had broken AND bruised ribs. One bruise was enough of an impact to bruise a lung. They both feel pretty much identical. Breathing, moving, any sort of abdominal muscle engagement kills......I know. But if it's not broken, that's probably what you've done. What sucks is that almost every active motion hurts. Get used to it (and advil). They take a long time to heal completely.....even though it is just a bruise.
Dammit. Well good mang. This will help it work better in the long run. It's still not snowing here yet.
I was doing a little light reading on broken ribs and searched out this gem.
Nice drop.
