Thumbs down One picture of me I hope to never see again

Look close, and know my pain.

Right hand, busted. In a splint now and I have to see a specialist to see if they want to put pins in it so it heals ok. Either way, at least 6-8 weeks of no play for me.

Badly bruised ribs add to the fun. I blame it all on kidwoo. Why'd he have to make it look so easy?

On the bright side, this is a great opportunity to become ambidextrous.

I don't even want to know what you were doing to the Woo when this happened. Disturbing imagery.

It looks like you might have punched the ground pretty hard. Ouch man. Sorry to hear it CS....but at the same time I want to hear more.....how big was the gap?

I guess you may become one of those no poles tele guys that raged Alta in the late 90s.

Here's a shot of kidwoo sending the gappage. I didn't even plan on doing it but was feeling good from a solid day of riding and it didnt look too bad. i popped a bit too much off the lip and got into a little wheelie-air, but managed to put the front end down just before I hit the tranny.

I guess I didn't get the front end down quite far enough as my back wheel hit first and snapped the front end down pretty fast, subesquently ripping the bars out of my hands. Or somthing like that. It all happened kinda fast I really thought I had nailed it since I landed exactly where I wanted to, but next thing I knew I was smashing into the ground. Oh well, next time.

That pic is crazy... in the third shot from the bottom, it looks like he's going to nail that point, but he obviously cleared it and landed.

You went out with your boots on, dude. At least it didn't happen climbing out of the shower. That is a cool line, a serious loss of vertical footage. Way to get on it.

    Ummmm...holy fuck!!!!!

Bummer about the hand CS. I'm nursing yet another fucked up shoulder after my trip. My physical therapist will be my best friend the next few weeks. It's something I needed to do anyway. Good luck and heal up quick. And you won't be missing too much the next few weeks. The hills are dry right now and there's no more light for riding after work.

    1. CS -- shit man that blows. yer out 6-8 weeks, but use that time to run or spin on a trainer or something...something to keep in shape 'cause you know what time it will be when you're all healed

    2. kidwoo -- holy shit that pic. i'm stoked to say that i have ridden with you. please remember us little people

Bummer on the hand CS, but being left handed is actually pretty cool. I'm guessing you never go back to being right handed after you learn the ways.

That photo on the other hand, is sick. Nice send kidwoo.

Bummer on the hand, but dude that was some sick air there. I broke both of my wrist one night on a bike but it was a damn starting gate that did not drop. At least you got a hell of story to tell about yours.
