Another vote for the Mangy Moose, one for the sneaky Elk at Crustal and one for the Rack at the Loaf now that Seth and friends own the place.

another for Mangy Moose
Bart and Yeti's (RIP, doggies)
There was a great place in Lionshead called the Sunrise Bar & Grill (I think) that had cheap beer and several pool tables. That was my favorite Apres bar. Garton's (now 8150) had awesome music - I saw the Allman Brothers and Dave Matthews there for chrissakes. Another gem that's now gone was the Jackalope in West Vail.
Love the GMD's bar, but like 13 said - it's more like your living room than a "real" bar.
The Longhorn in W/B has some of the hottest girls I've ever seen in ski country. My wife slapped me there one night. Twice.

Did I call it DMR bitch!? Nobody pulled your string. I don't think farquarts had a beer named after it. You are probably just front range trash.
Dude, if you liked that place, you'd totally dig the SunDance Saloon. ;)Quote:

Shed is dope. Used to think there were secret additives in their brew.
Snorting Elk was pretty killer too.
Ice Bar at Alpine is slamming after spring time corn.
Dude - that was a long time and many err... braincells ago. Ugh. You'd think with all the time I spent there....Quote:

Hey Frank - no love for Kermit's?
About a decade plus later, at least my drinking years. And your right, I think everyone just calls it the ranch.Quote:

Hard to say now, however When I lived in Killington Mr. Black nailed all the great aspects of a classic ski town bar with the Lookout
the Antler bar at June Mtn.
Some day I want to finally check out the Tiger Bar in June Lake, est. 1932. I've been told its the oldest watering hole in the Easter Sierra. :yourock:
That was one stop (of many?) on my 30th b-day tour... now I prefer the Long Trail Brewery. Good food, many assorted brews and a nice deck by the river in warm weather make it a great place to hang after skiing.Quote:

Heh - it's the biker bar at the Rte 6 exit after Idaho Springs (or before, depending on direction) going towards Golden. It's right next to the quarry.Quote:

Actually spelled KERMITTS

Whiskey Jaques here in Ketchum. Kreitler even named their woman's bathroom as one of his top ten powder stashes! :fm:
Must disagree. From my Killington days, I'd have to go with Charity's every time. Best free wings anywhere PLUS Humble Patience on nitro and 'schooners'...Quote:
