I'm sure his "decision" to give up falling off too high of places was related to his fear of "hey where the fuck did I leave my keys? Oh they're in the ignition of the car I'm driving. Heh, concussions is cool." Climbing the corporate ladder of falling of higher and higher shit has to have a realization to even to most impacted of folks after a while. Hell I screwed the landing off my daughters new bunk beds top bunk after story time the other night and realized a 38 year old has no business up there.

The more I think about this monoskiing thing, the more brilliant it seems to become.

It be the truth. Warren Miller Productions sent out Tom Day and JP to Solitude to learn how to monoski. Pics are on Lateral Pressure. No reason to make this shit up, we get flipped enough of it as it is.

One thing that really impressed me was when Jamie in one of the TGR flicks (High Life I think) was jibbing onto trees and using them to flip him around. Not only did it take some balls, but it was really creative, which is sometimes lacking from skiing.

I would have enjoyed it even more if he had stuck with it till he could actually land those jumps on his feet.
