get me the hell out of new york. f-ing united. now flying to LA and driving up at around 11. sick.
Went to June today, J7 was bottomless fluff. The face was deep as well, but watch out for the crusty layer under the deep stuff. Carson and anything of J7 today were SICK. Pics coming Monday.... Tomorrow should be interesting, streets in town are already packed. Don't even think about going to Von's up here, get it done in Bitchup.
Be careful about the B/C, it will be skecthy for a couple of days.
A couple of sweet, sweet days. Got to look back at just my tracks the first three laps in the trees off 22 this morning; everything after that was gravy.
Snorkeldeep, I think that was you I saw....who'd thought there'd be two sets of Bro's turning around the same tree on that long-ass traverse out to the goods. I peeled off before you guys but it was still good stuff.
Seymor, hope you saw my note on the board and your reservation in the white room is waiting for you Sunday morn. See ya early April if not before.
Matt, hoping that knee turns out to be nothing more than a nasty bruise. Thought about you on the drive home tonight as I went past Big Pine.
Whoever hit Balls around 1030....I was one of the hoots/hollars/cheers directed your way. There were four patrol next to me at the top of 5 paying pretty close attention to what was happening on TOTW.
i just got back from tahoe.
i love tahoe so much more than mammoth. and it only took 8 hours to get there.
overhead at times on friday, with it going perfect bluebird on saturday. i've got 6 days on the season now.
i'm gonna move to loomis.
Ridgehippy thanks for thinking of me. I got a big chuckle when I called (from home in Santa Barbara) Gebster on Saturday morning to say, "Ryan, wake your ass up. It's bluebird out there." It turns out that he wakes up earlier when I'm not there. It dawned on me just how slowly people walk up and down State Street in Santa Barbara when I was keeping up or passing people while I was on crutches.
I can walk now, but not effortlessly and haven't risked it for more than one block. I've been able to bear weight all along and haven't had pain. The range of motion is getting better as the swelling is coming down. I have an appointment with the doctor on Monday morning. I have reason to be optimistic. Still, the worst case scenario lingers. I'm holding out hope that I will not have as much time away as I had thought initially.
