Shoot. It's looking like there's going to be so much snow that I could launch Balls without worrying about the landing at all. The only impediments would be depressing my clutch on the drive up there, getting my boots on, and walking to TOTW. Other than that, I'm fine. :-)

    Comish,

If you and Mrs. Comish want to meet up, name the palce.

    Matt,

I'm not 100% with the knee by any means, but if you should choose to come up, give me a call. I hope things are going well though

There's an Andy Selters slide show at Cerro Coso college on Saturday night to benefit ESAC.

    wknd should rule.

too bad the water pipes in our condo froze then cracked last week.

This sounds very promising! I guess the crew could pick you up and carry you over to TOTW.

Of course I am there....can't miss this storm. I am starting to feel ill with Mad Cow Chicken Flu, so I might be seeking some treatment on Friday at the Mammoth Mountain health clinic....

Snow was much lighter today. Stump ran for 2 hours until they shut it down for low visibility. Roger's and the Bear were sick. It was the only chair to run today out of "Main." After they shut it down drove over to 8 and did a couple laps in the trees, then Roller Coaster opened. Traversed over to lower part of Lincoln. We hiked up to Diving Board area and got the best turns there. For all the wicked wind that has been blowing (163 mph gust at top) snow was goods. Top will be sweet, they are saying 5-6 feet already up there!

Next storm should be colder (Thurs-Sat Morning.) Hope it clears out tomorrow...

The fresh was indeed welcomed. It was a bit heavy and wet but fun nevertheless. I was up there this weekend until Monday. Here's hoping everyone enjoying it.

Just wondering out loud here...I'm relatively new to the board and it looks like most of the regulars know each other. Howz about a chance meeting next weekend for a run, lunch, a brew or anything to put a face with the avatars for the newby(ies)?

Want me to swing up to SB on my way Thursday? You could put the passenger seat all the way back and start working that knee. 6 hours of PT should have you back into shape for the weekend. Can't help with the boots, but it'd sure be nice for the whole crew to come back to a home-cooked meal at the end of the day

Looks like a full house this wknd; get better soon so you can get in some spring turns. These storms are just laying down a looong season base for ya.

Totally up for meeting, problem is we have no idea where we will be when. If its remotely snowing check ch 22. If not, the gondi line waiting for the goods. I'm on Sugar Daddy's w/ Red Cloudveil, beige pants, and black helmet with Maggot sticker.

Just depends on the snow, lift openings, etc. Cell phones / radios seem to be the method of hooking up on Mammy.

Feel free to PM for cellie

You sure you don't want to slog up Williamson this weekend? Want more of that blower overhead pow of 2 weeks ago?

Hey, just wanted to let you all know I'll be in Laughlin for my buddy's b-day, K? So make sure to call me to rub it in when it's good and deep.

At least the snow up top won't be any good, right?

We all have a TGR or PM sticker on our helmet, or board, or ski(s). I'm usually sporting pink pants, easy to spot.

I think it's been more then 2 Heel up Matt, then stomp the shit out of it.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Somebody go big for your own reasons out there this weekend. This would have been a weekend where I looked down on Balls wondering about the traverse on the run out. Then I would have focused back to my line, a 4-point landing, and absolutely staying centered on the landing and run out as well.

If you stomp something, I want to hear about it.

I'll kick it up for you. TR to follow.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

The eyes will be peeled at the usual haunts for PM stickers and such. Hats off to Yogachik for making it easy with the hot pink pants . Though as we all know if its dumping all of our intentions of meeting will be thrown out the window as we all pillage the goods.

Commish: I will PM you my cell and maybe we can coordinate something.

If the storm plays out I'll be on Apache Chiefs and Blue Arcteryx jacket w/black pants. No PM gear sticker on the helmet yet, however there is an interesting "Team Fingering The Bean" sticker.

I don't have any PM stickers yet, but I do have a "Slut Magnet" sticker on the brain bucket, so ask for some change.

    Updated Dweeb report:

    11:00AM:

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE PROCESS OF UPGRADING THE WATCH TO A WARNING...VERY COLD UPPER LOW DROPING SOUTH OFF THE NORTHWEST COAST THURSDAY.....FIRST COLD FRONT WILL BRING MODEST AMOUNTS EARLY THURSDAY....SO NO RESIDENTIAL PLOW THEN....SECOND IMPULSE QUITE IMPRESSIVE WITH VERY STRONG VERTICAL MOTION FIELDS AFTER MIDNIGHT THURSDAY AND INTO FRIDAY. LOOKS LIKE A DOUBLE PLOW STORM FOR THE LOCALS....FRIDAY AM AND LATE PM.

QPF OVER THE CREST IN THE 3 INCH RANGE WITH SNOW TO H2O RATIOS IN THE 15:1 TO 20:1 RANGE. LOOKS LIKE A FEW SNORKEL DAYS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY....3 TO 4 FEET POSSIBLE ON THE UPPER MOUNTAIN WITH 1 TO 2 FEET IN THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH AND UP TO A FOOT IN CROWLEY.

NICE BUT BREEZY WEEKEND ON TAP FOR THE POWDER HOUNDS......GOOD JUMP SUIT CONDITIONS....AND BRING THE EXTRA LONG SNORKELS FOR SATURDAY AM WITH FINE MESH SCREENS :-)
