Where is this Keystone place you all speak of?
It's in Unicornland with the rainbows and gumdrops!Quote:

WHO KNOWS!?!?!!!!
Moral support for the friends (and consultation on how many layers to wear for my friend who has to ask his mom whether he should wipe his ass or not).Quote:

Ehm... nope. Called him many times this week to no avail. If you had some overwhelming desire to bring those by Sewall, can't say I'd be opposed.Quote:

Nice hijack, by the way. ;) (Although it's probably more relevant to my everyday life than fat skis at keystone anyway...).
Which is .. http://www.msprotege.com:8080/smilies/aeh.gifQuote:

Doesn't get much more core than that, really.
If you don't know now... I don't think you ever will... Unless you convert to Zen. That may do the trick.Quote:

I think the true meaning of skiing is to look your best. It's all about fashion! Who cares if you actually know how to ski??? :D :D :D

Thanks for the education, young Max...http://www.msprotege.com:8080/smilies/blah.gif http://www.arcticchat.com/forums/sty...lt/nutkick.gifQuote:

I keep telling people to not ski at Keystone because it is lame. Lone Star keeps sitting on the mountain he never leaves telling people how much it sucks at the 'stone. He knows. I know. Please, believe us!
Everyone knows that skiing inbounds is all about those sick endless cliffbands in the middle of the groomer. Keystone doesn't have this. I hear at Ski Cooper the patrollers even shovel fresh pow into the landings after each huck. Skiing isn't about linking up 3 or 4 stashes on a given run. It certainly not about dropping a boundary rope.
Keystone is for gapers. That is what makes it great. Listen to Barbrady. Move along nothing to see here. A-Basin is five minutes away!
I don't really know what you're getting at. I do know that I underestimated Keystone (slightly. It still sucks).Quote:

this HAD to be said:
My friends were getting on the A-Basin-to-Keystone shuttle today, putting their B4's on the back of the shuttle when the driver yells at them, "Hey! You can't put your snowboards on the back! You have to bring them inside." My friends are puzzled, wondering to whom he is speaking. To them, apparently, as he repeats himself, looking straight at them. At this point, the driver gets out and comes around to the back to verify that they do not have snowboards.

I'm sorry, but I just fail to see the resemblance.
Max, you lecturing me about the "Zen of Skiing" is like PeeWee Herman lecturing Wilt Chamberlain about "The Joy of Sex" :eek:Quote:

I agree 100%! When I ski there, yes I do occasionally ski there, I get comments about my Chiefs at every other lift. Did not get them in Jackson though, obviously.Quote:
