I'm curious, would WPG bomb that slope if someone was traversing in / out of the gulch below? Do they even look before they drop that stuff? (hoping that they do a flyby to see if anyone is around).

Well, the slope may well have stabilized under current conditions, and may well not have slid without explosive prompting. Instead they ripped it to the ground and it will more likely end up as a point of persistent weakness after the next storm.:rolleyes:

In your "Some folks over on Toledo, waiting for the sunshine" photo, that line of trees on the ridge seemed, at first, to be a huge line of hikers making their pilgrimage to ski any number of beautiful lines in that photo -- and your team was looking down upon them realizing you had beaten the rush! :)
