I have to admit that I am a little sad, but as long as you make it to Crystal now and then its cool... and of course you have to make it to our 2nd annual Bier Garten Party next Oct. ;)

After growing up in Portland, my advice would be to start surfing. Along with wind/kitesurfing, its the only sport Portland has on Seattle.

Congrats!!! Get plenty of trial experience. You'll have to be a bitch to do it but it will reward you when you apply for your next job and have 10-20 trials under your belt. The other people will be coming from firms and have 0 trials under their belt. I know Jim S. down there, used to work w/ him, he's a good guy, you should enjoy the office, he does a lot.

If you're living near a trailer, your property value can't be that high to begin with, no?

As I recall in Vancouver, modernizing the land use regulations didn't catch up with the huge growth in population and influx in the late 90s, so there are (were?) blocks of brand new homes/townhomes just a few lots away from trailers that have been there for years.

At one point in the 90s Clark County WA was the fastest growing county in the US, and strangely it lost that top spot to Clark County, NV.
