Bumping this up cause I am desperate and need to get a new boot in the next couple days. I'll take any advice on this boot compared to my Cochise or any other boot. The boot will see far more resort days than touring. I just want to make sure it is at least as resort capable as the Cochise. I also get paid the be in the boots on occasion which entails bushwacking, going uphill, sideways and whatever, so being a lighter boot is a plus
Good to know. I have had em on my feet. They’d probably need a stretch, though.
If you have big ass feet they are your boot. If you have narrow small chicken legs and feet they are bathtubs.
Turns out Technica is going to send me a new pair of Cochises to replace my out of warranty pair. Maybe they need my old pair for R&D since their failure is pretty impressive. I am still very Tigard or Radical Pro curious.
I also just sent in a pair of Cochise for warranty (although no word yet on whether they’ll accept them) and decided to pick up a true alpine boot for the majority of my days where I don’t need to be able to tour. Hoping for a replacement Cochise for travel + sidecountry days that I can keep wear down on and hopefully extend their life.
Went with the Mach1 because I found the Tecnica BSLs truly do match and don’t need to adjust bindings if switching between boots.
I’d really like to have an alpine pair and a touring pair but it is a tough sell at the house. Lol.
Got em, woah!! Flex on these is legit!

Can anyone compare and contrast to the Technica Zero G Pro tour and Scarpa Maestrale XT?
