Maybe quickset if you are making a repair in a hut or out on the trail (on trail sounds sketchy) but IME/IMO if you are at home you got time to use good slow set, the bigger problem is usually finding the good stuff

I just remounted my skis using existing holes for Pivot. I used a bit of Double Bubble 2 day in each hole. 7 of 8 were tight and right. One of the front left toes piece screws....(the eighth), spun. Then, I coated the screw with epoxy. I'll see whether it spins in a day or two. I'm hoping not to have to remove the entire toe and add an insert.
Bumping this since I’ll be remounting p18’s in existing holes.
How’d it go with the remount? It’s been awhile so time will have told.

Bumping this to ask:
If i'm taking some shifts off a DeatheWish and mounting pivots instead, should I just do a woodfill/marine epoxy job and then not worry too much about overlapping or close holes?
