Yup, after i got on the vp free i decided a single pivot bike was not the best suspension for tahoe, better suited for fast singletrack with the occasional technical section, so i found it a good home, moved over the fork and wheelset to the 5 spot and built from there. So far, even pedaling around the neighborhood it is a fun bike. Love it.

Bought the vpfree from guy who was working on my heckler last year, but only got to ride it a handful of times before our abbreviated fall ended.

(so now i guess i got to hide it as well as lock it up, either that or just chain my mean killer dog to it. ;) )

I'll be riding my same old 2003 Santa Cruz Superlight. Love it love it love it.

Oh, I did pick up two beach cruisers from Craiglist for $40 each. Granted, neither of them currently is ridable, but I'm hoping to change that soon.

ya, Bodie isn't the toughest dog around, but he seems to become extra loud and tough when he sees Arty. Funny, I have no idea why though. :)
