I'll second that response - but only if you ski out west (lotsa powdah). I have demoed a lot of powder skis for years. I really like the Volkl Explosiv (190cm, but not the twin-tip - personal choice) and Gotama (190cm), and K2 Seth Pistol and Public Enemy, Head Monster 84 (190cm), old Ti Chubb (190cm), and a vintage Atomic Powder Plus (180cm).Quote:

What I mean by reasonably stiff - about the stiffness of an Explosiv/Gotama/G4 (a mixture of the three), but not as stiff as the Big Daddy, the Tanker, or the Monster 103. All powder skis should have thick bases and oversized edges - like Igneous and K2 do.
