Your email updates through the whole thing have been such an inspiration. (It's been a little hard to NOT tell everyone "OMG, WSD is the most amazing woman I've ever met! She's such a badass, she's been out mountain biking in between chemo treatments!")
You're so positive and strong - I'm so incredibly proud of you. And you do look great bald!! Who knew?? ;)
And I can't wait to go riding with you again! We missed you this summer!!!

Very impressed with you, WSD. Isn't it hard to write on the back of your own head?
-
Wow, I had no idea. Keep up the cancer ass-kicking.
And wtf is up w/ so many folks on here getting cancer in some form? Scary.

In hoping that laughter is the best medicine and gift, please tell PNWBrit that he doesn't have to worry unless he decides on that sex change.
-
Keep kicking ass. (And I'll be the 15th person to state that you look good bald).
-
M- It takes a lot of courage to share. I know, I've been there too
Sharing your experience not only helps you, but others.
With such a strong personality, drive for success, and lots of love & support- you are a success (and Survivor!). Great job keeping your life in order and seeing the positive side of things. Attitude is everything- especially with this kind of experience. In the long run, it will only make you a stronger person.
I have no doubt from reading the well written words above that you have both the strength and determination to succeed at anything. Healthy vibes & much love from the PNW +++++

Hair or no hair, you make me wanna ;););).
PS. Don't let your brother kill me!

Marika,
I am passing this on to my wife also. She was supposed to have her surgery on Tuesdy, but they found another lump. New surgery scheduled for Friday.
You are quite the inspiration for what we have to face. Your post has brought tears to my eyes. Stay strong.
Remember everyone- October is breast cancer awareness month.

It was so much fun to meet you in January.
I am glad to see you are doing well, considering everything that has happened since. It's also good to know that you have a good support network and have been able to stay active and sane throughout.

Damn, friends are great, aren't they! What would we do without them to keep us smiling during times that we don't really feel like smiling? You are a very lucky woman.
Congratulations on being a survivor! And thanks for sharing your inspirational story.

WSD--
Don't know you, but am inspired by your writeup. Best of luck with your continued recovery.

WSD, I know you don't want to hear this now, but this really brought tears to my eyes and I caught myself crying at work. I'm absolotely speechless knowing you had this and have been through it and yet you still remain so strong and positive - but knowing you this comes as no surprise that you remain stong and positive (and continue to mountain bike!!).
Congratulations to you for coming out of this cancer with a hopeful outlook and also for your continued fight with it - you are just so incredibly awesome. :)

Keep up the good fight.
