I really appreciate all the ideas. We have looked at some of the mentioned sites and will continue to research the new sites mentioned.
I will have to check into the Diamond Caberet, because that is where we really met.
Has anyone been to a wedding at City Park in Denver?
My fiance looked into City Park but it seemed like a pain in the ass. I also think it may be under construction for awhile. I know there are different rates for the rotunda, garden area, etc. But if you want to do it inside they kind of rape you on the catering and booze since you can't bring anybody else in. And they charge you by the fork.
We are getting married at the Evergreen lake house. Should be cool and pretty reasonably priced. Might be too small for a wedding your size though.

We were married at Lionscrest Manor last year. Can't say enough good things about the place and the staff. It's run very well.
They offer packages with a choice of a select group of vendors they work with who are all pretty good which can keep your costs a bit lower. 180 might be around their limit, not sure. Definitely worth checking out at least as they fill up quick.
We have looked at Lionscrest in Lyons, not quite what we were looking for. It did not seem to flow very well, was this a concern for anyone? Obviously 180 guests is a lot, close to their max.

we did botanic gardens, then reception at three sisters in the big field around the yellow house.
three sisters was relatively cheap and chill - bought all our own booze, brother's bbq catered, and had a latin band.
Not sure what you're definition of flow is, but ours went about as smooth as one could go. They even knew what drink to bring to me when the ceremony was over. :yourock:Quote:

A great place to have a front range wedding is Willow Ridge Manor; I convinced my wife to have her company's holiday party there, and the spot is in a beautiful location and the people there are great.
I've been there multiple times, and I always am impressed by the views and the red rocks formations.
