True. true. I may have been hasty. I'm just proposing that in the off chance that maybe he really did do something hugely crappy that he should know about. Ugh. And I'm also thinking that if he just wants to move beyond it and get past it, that might be the path of least resistance.Quote:

IMHO in no way should her behavior be reinforced by doing "something really fabulous for her."
Nice. You are thinking like a guy. :)Quote:

I say kill her and bury her body in a remote stretch of Wyoming. I've got a couple of unused holes that I could give you directions to.
Yes. Definitely shoot the hostage.
If you decide to go this route, let me know so I can get her while she's warm.Quote:

Sounds like you could use a drink. I got plenty o' beer at my place that needs drinking before heading to the skylark.Quote:

Look her straight in the eye and ask: "What will I have to say or do for you to peel and make me feel like a pornstar?"
If she doesn't laugh and tell you what's up then raise an eyebrow, get a beer, sit on the sofa, and wait her ass out.
This is a contest you MUST win for future happiness. And notice the lack of a "winky." I'm serious.
YOU SICK FUCK! ;)Quote:

But don't you see that he won't be moving beyond it, rather he'll be sweeping it under the rug until she brings it up next time she gets pissy.Quote:

She needs to be brought up to an adult level where she states her case so she doesn't let the issue fester and so SP can address it. Only then can they move forward IMHO.
VPH was a bit too cold blooded for you eh?Quote:

I always sound that way!
We've got FOBP business to take care of this evening, but I might meet you all down at the Skylark later. It's not nearly as cool in the new location though.
And to avoid permanent thread drift: Pu, just talk to her. Tell her that there's no point in both of you walking around with hurt feelings and the only way to make it better for both of you is to talk about it honestly. No games, no tricks, just solid conversation. Followed of course by raucous, sweaty, animalistic, knock em down, boom-boom sex.
"With a deaf fucking ear. Otherwise the incessant whining, moaning, bitching and nagging will erode the cellular structure of your inner peaceful place where skiing takes you.
Tell Barbie you're going. If she doesn't dig it, tough. Chicks are a dime a dozen, Pu. Powder days live forever. "
-Splat, on how to handle nonskiing chicks
He already dun tol' you once, son!
Sorry, but my tolerance for b.s. disappeared a long time ago. Either she tells you what the problem is so it can be addressed,
OR:
For you, there IS no f'n problem, whether or not SHE has one.
Two months and she's starting with this shit? Run like hell while you can my friend. I can assure you there are women out there who do not behave in this way. Unfortunately for you, they are all married or lesbians....
(are you winding up for that?)
;)
Sprite
What a minute - it just occured to me.. Did you say that she doesn't ski??
Over the long term, it's important to have shared interests. Always keep this in mind.
Or if they're from the Bay Area... MARRIED Lesbians. ;)Quote:

Yeah, I've got to agree you need to hold your ground. No flowers, no I'm sorry for whatever I did... She tells you what's pissing her off or that's it. She brought it up. Then, and only then, if it does turn out you did something ridiculously bad that you're not remembering, you make up for it. Seriously though, no matter what it is, it doesn't warrant "I can't believe you don't know". She needs to spit it out or shut up.
Hmmmm, seems pretty crazy to me....she's not a skier right? That is always the tough part from what i hear.
Find a lady that skis, or at least understands how insane you are about this stuff. You don't need to do anything, if you didn't do something in the first place...girls can be lame, i'll admit it.
I'm a simple person and I hate these little games...and I mean HATE them, waste of time. This has been talked about many times on the other board and on here...seems to be the never ending battle....Wish i had some really good advice, but all i can say is find a girl that understands and isn't into the mind games....
then when and if you ever find one, let me know.Quote:

Seriously, ask her point blank, what did I do, I don't know and if you want this relationship to continue, we must be able to communicate our feelings to each other.
If that doesn't work, throw her a box of the above and bring your cougar hunting rifle to the summit :D
Conrad Anker is quoting Telenater???Quote:

How I would approach this situation (think smooove):
"I understand you're upset at something I did. Perhaps my train of thought has taken me in the wrong direction or maybe I miscommunicated something to you and thus it was taken the wrong way. Whatever it was, I can't figure out what I did wrong. Everyone does stuff in life that they can't see firsthand as being stupid or wrong. That's what friends are for, to point out our own stupidity. So right now we're at an impass, and the only way to get through it is to discuss what I did. Then and only then can I truly make amends for my actions."
Edit: Almost forgot. If this doesn't work. Toss the Iggy's in the back of the Taco, get your ass up to Tahoe, call her on the way, and say "Fuck you very much, I'm going skiing."
