Which stereotypes would those be?

DisArray needs some help back pedaling from his crassly sexist comments.
I learn something new everyday at TGR. Disarray's ignorance prompted me to investigate the Nautical myth that women are bad luck to have on board a vessel. Turns out it's true, unless they are naked!
"Interestingly enough, there is a way to counter this effect. While having a woman on board would anger the sea, having a “naked” woman on board would calm the sea. Imagine that. This is why many vessels have a figure of a woman on the bow of the ship, this figure almost always being bare-breasted. It was believed that a woman’s bare breasts would “shame” the stormy seas into calm. Alas, the ancient power of female nudity. "
No surprise here, bare breasted women have super natural powers.

If the situation was reversed, and the lovesick astronaut was a married man... He'd never focus his rage on any potential rivals for affection.
He'd have taken the simpler route and just killed his wife. Then he could be free and clear to pursue someone else.

I had a hunch, so I called my father-in-law. Yup, he works with Ms. Depends. Discussing this subject is now prohibited at Cape Canaveral.
