Bags, good point. There are all those ethnic festivals every weekend to make up for it though!

Well, based on your posts in this thread, you are one of those people.Quote:

Personally who gives a fuck? Live where you wanna live, do what you wanna do and hang out with people you like. Ignore the rest….
Anyway, people who think they are more “core” (what a lame term) than you or who constantly spray about their abilities are just insecure.
Tru dat.Quote:

After moving around a bit and spending time in SLC, now I live in Denver and I make fun of Boulder....and SLC, sorry Bags. I make fun of Aurora and lots of other stuff too.
When I'm driving my Subaru up I70 to go play in the mtns I make fun of myself.

Well, duh?! ;) I just see the Western Slope as more likely. I'd never really rule out the FR tho.Quote:

Interesting points. Any mountain town will have it's share of people that love to spray about how extreme they are or the gnarly things they do. I know mammoth does, and I had the pleasure of working near some of these people. I just found that I would just ignore them. People like this will always be a fixture of any town that has major recreational opportunities near it. You wanna know the best way to avoid these people? Go out and do the recreational activities that you moved to your town for. The funny thing with alot of these people is that as much as they spray, they probably get out a 1/4 of what the people who don't spray do. Instead of spraying about it, just go do it.
People will always diss mountain towns like the one I live in, but for me, if they decide they don't like it, they can leave. The way I look at it, it's one less car on the road, one less person to get a job over you, and one less person getting in the way of your line on the hill. Take it as you will, but that's what I think and I'll stand by it.
Ha! I did eat a nice plate of hungover huevos rancheros at Santiagos on Saturday morning! I did not see the aformentioned waitress. When does she come out of her den?Quote:

I dunno....keep going! We caught her two days in a hungover-huevos row. I think her name is felicia. Have you met Dave and Anthony at the Casa de MTB? They are my bro's...
