I wound up filling a bucket with water + some dish detergent...then just dunked my hand in and coated the sidewalls with a couple passes. Turned out to be easy (since I didn't have an empty squirt bottle).Quote:

I have Mavic 823 rims (takes UST or standard). Haven't had any problem mounting or seating my UST tires without a tube. Floor pump works fine. However, when I use a tube w/ the UST tires I have a hard time getting the tire to seat straight (always get a significant "wow"). I tried way over-inflating to get the bead to pop out more evenly onto the rim lip but it doesn't work. I'm hearing the same problem from others. Has anybody here experienced this problem?
