From what I've seen, the happy middle ground between full blow Stan's and the ghetto fix seems to be aftermarket rim strips. Maxxis has them for $5 a pop so they're cheap but there's no trimming and they're reuseable. I'm gonna order some next week, so I post my results later this season.
AC.....i pulled my bike out from the rubble in my garage today.......and my front tire is completely flat!!! ARRRG
and i couldn't find a pump that worked to check the damage :(

Hey girls...
It's good to see so many girls hittin the bike! I'm looking for more females to ride with this summer around SLC. I always ride with my husband, but sometimes it's fun to get out with more girls. If any of you are interested, let me know. I like to go out after work a couple days a week - LLC, pipeline, shoreline, whatever. If you have the typical 9-5 schedule, that's where I'm at. Always up for road biking too.
