No shaving. Wax only. But tell her to wax mid-cycle, or at least NOT just before or just after her period. Also, it's good to take an advil just before, it keeps the irritation down. I do get Brazilian, and it's really not that bad. The pain is not any greater than what you would experience from a regular wax (ripping out hair by the root, is still ripping out hair by the root- no matter where from!), but you have to be comfortable with yourself enough to be in compromising positions on the table in front of the waxer. The level of *ahem* exposure is the primary discerning factor between a Brazillian and a regular wax, NOT pain levels.

Sorry about hijacking it now but I have a question for you ladys that like to shave/wax down under. Is it necessary that your man shave/wax too? Its interesting because I have been with women that were shaved clean and others with full bush. I even been with women that don't shave their pits or legs. :eek:

I usually sport a full bush but have experimented with the clean shaven and closely trimmed. I honestly don't think there is much difference once you are getting it on. The only true benifit of a shaved bush is that you don't have to pick the curly hairs outta your teeth before kissing her after going down there.

Me too. I've waxed and found it's more irritating when it grows back then shaving is. And tell her shaving was way annoying the first time I tried it, but you get used to it and don't notice anymore.

Nair, as long as you don't leave it on too long (ouch) works great. have to do it more frequently than a wax, but it's MUCH less painful. Worth a try to see if it works for her.

Unfortunately I found the pain and embarrassment meant that waxing was a one time only experience. The adantage of a razor is that it takes second and becomes part of your daily shower routine.

DEFINITELY don't go against the grain! I'm going to try Sprite's other top tip.

i'd say not picking hairs out of your teeth is the only reason you need

The Frau got the hairs lasered. MOST of them don't grow back - she's not all that happy w/the results vs. the costs, but not really unhappy either... Plus I get to play barber every now and then, which is nice.

ummm... clippers. Don't have the irritation of shaving or the expense/pain of waxing. Then shave around the edges... not that I have any experience in these matters, I'm just a guy :biggrin:

She needs to try both and decided what she likes best. Waxing leaves the skin nice and smooth, very soft. When at the river I can always tell who shaves talk about a rash. :eek:

Not that this happens to all you ladies who have shaving under control.
