I think your more likely to see PCs becoming more like macs, except cheaper. The OS is clearly nicer as are some of the apps.Quote:

I just got a new iBook and I don't mind at all. It'll be a while before:
1) You can actually get the Intel notebooks
2) All the kinks are ironed out
3) The Intel CPUs trickle down to iBook level, which is all I need

I have a 17 inch powerbook and the 20 inch imac. There is no way in hell I would go to a smaller screen for the road. Just because Im traveling doesnt meen that I dont need the screen space to edit.Quote:

Actually, there was a case for RISC vs. CISC years ago. This is being overly simplistic, but the advantages of each were eroded as both sides started implementing the benefits of both camps. There isn't really any such thing as RISC or CISC anymore.Quote:
