I thought the movie was quite good.
But I don't think the movie really portrayed what an outlaw/rebel/badass Cash really was.
The Folsom scene where Cash talks to the convicts about the water and then rips into Cocaine Blues was awesome, however.

Wow. Saw it this weekend, and can only echo what others said...
Reese is hot, and is a suprisingly good actress, it turns out.
Joaquin Phoenix is good, nails the voice. Bowls over other actors-as-singers (a la Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison).
Good acting all around by a great cast.
4/5 cornholes.
If they'd added another 45 minutes and developed some of his mid-career, I wouldn't have been sorry.
