    walk the line

you know when you see a movie and you can't figure out if you thought it was ok, liked it, or really liked it?

    anyways, the music is great.

I know all here will be shocked i saw it already too.
was brilliant in places, overdone in some, and unfortunately a bit inaccurate in others.
    Well worth seeing.
Stump did a great job as Cash, reese witherspoon actually overcame my hatred of her to shine as June.
wish they would have delved more into Phillips and the rest of the carter family, those performanes/charecters really stood out to me.
Music was superlative, until yu hear the real JR at the end I forgot it was Stump singing the whole time.
    8/10

Take it easy on him, guys, he's a great man. After all, he did invent the Joaquin closet.

always been a big reese fan. hard to stomach some of those movies a few years back, but she was great in this.

the one thing i don't think jaoquin sang was "walk the line" (the part in the studio). it was like in Ray when you could tell that jamie foxx wasn't signing "georgia".
    fine

not a huge fan, in that i don't listen to it that much, but have heard my fare share of his tunes. Not a historian of his either, so i couldn't tel you where or when it was not accurate. I thought he was more of a coke problem guy than a pill guy? oh well, the movie was fantastic, well done, the singing was stellar. Reese is meh, but did a decent job in this movie. Well worth the $7.50.

These boots are made for joaquin, and thats just what i'll do (right out of this thread). And let it be stated that I don't have a harelip, so I can't possibly look that much like Joaquin.

Just seen it. I generally like Joaquin, but Reese is meh to me. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, and thought they both did a bangup job. Like Woodsy said, only when the real JC sings during the credits do you realize there's a difference between he and Joaquin.

It doesn't have the thrills, plot twists, and intrigue of Harry Potter, but I still recommend it.
