How much do you spend on alcohol?

I consider the monthly expense my tithing.

Probably about $100 a month.

I don't know the total, but I get greeted by name in my LLS.

When I put a new 1/2 barrel in I become more popular, how popular depends on how good the beer is. Funny how that works,... weird not haha. $400.00 a month unless I have good bud, then less.

That is fucked, hopefully it'll work itself out when the laws of supply and demand go to work on it. I remember booze being pretty cheap in WA when I lived there compared to CO.

Damn, we are right there with you and have the same MO.

haven't had a drink in at least a couple years. not feeling any big loss, especially out of my wallet.

Does this include bar/restaurant tab or just stuff consumed at home? If it's the latter, I'm guessing between the wife (lots of wine) and myself (lots of wine & pricey beer): $50-$70/week.

On average, I'm out 3-4 nights a week spending $20-30 per night/day. So that's ~$100/week at the bars. Figure another $20-30 on home consumption/week.

Weekly totals = $120
Monthly = $500

At home - not too much. Maybe two decent bottles of wine a month, a case of PBR and a handle of Ketel. So at most a $100/ mo.

Going out - average $50-75/ week no food included.

So yeah, about the same as most on here at $400/ mo. Damn. Wished I hadn't just realized that - seems like a lot.

In my single days, I'd spend between 100 and 300 a week at the bars and at home. So much so, that a few of us have a plaque with our names on it over our seats at the bar we frequented.

Now, the wife and I probably spend about 100-200 a month on wine, beer and whiskey with an occasional night out at the bars here and there.

THREADJACK - I made THE perfect meatballs known to mankind last week. 2 lbs ground beef + 1 lb ground lamb + 1 lb spicy Italian sausage stuffed with sauteed onions, peppers, roasted garlic, and goat cheese. Egged, coated with panko flakes, braised, and finished off in a pot of homemade tomato sauce (lots of basil and garlic) in low heat over several hours. I know most people (including my mom) use ground veal, but lamb is the way to go and makes a monster of a difference.

~$200/month as a guess for home stock. If I go out (I don't much anymore) who da fuck knows.

Well, i live in Houston; so it depends on the time of year.

From September to May; it's probably $100 a month easily, but from May until September; zero.

I concluded that I sweat out alcohol(aka get beer sweats) and at 95 degrees and 95% humidity; it's not worth drinking.

I better sign up for AA. Our home supply runs my Wife and I $225-350/month. She digs wine. If I saved all my happy hour receipts each month, I could easily tack on another $80-$120 a month.
