How much do you spend on alcohol?

Just doing a new budget with the wife and our estimates are impressive. We don't like cheap shit, try to buy handles whenever possible and don't have a kegerator. With mug club memberships my spending on beer outside the house is in descent check but... What are y'all spending per regular month?

Either nothing or everything I have, depending on what's going on.

I guess that doesn't help, sorry.

About $9.00 a six pack, unless they're on sale.

Usually, more than I would have thought, but not as much as I would have liked.

A handle of Vodka and a case of beer a week each being close to equal in price= $65.00 a week. Thats just me. The girl friend drinks Grand Marnier and wine but at lesser doses so not as much $ prolly. This excludes the day off shooting pool at a bar for some amount of time that happens more weeks than not.

She has toned me down though... used to drink two handles, 2-1.75L at my prime as well as probably a case, being 24 beers, a week. That was the cheaper shit though. I'm a distinguished drinker now.

    Not much, because I brew.

I do like to spend money on wine though, and good bourbon.

Too much, although I rarely pay for the fermented beverage(brew my own), I do enjoy the distilled spirits as well. Made a trip to the "cheaper" store down in the big city two days ago. Ended up paying $300 to stock the liquor cabinet. Only do that a few times a year though. Avg per month I'd say around $200 for the wife and I. Like I said, I get enough free beer to last a lifetime, but going out to bars and buying spirits adds up.

    I know, right?

We're just getting onto gin and aren't nightly drinkers of anything, really. Always take a couple beers to drink on a climb or ride but, for the most part, we're around $80/mo with pick sixes from Total Bev and a couple bottles of middle-of-the-road gin.

We like our marijuana. This is all slated to change in the next few months though with some major toning down in consumption for me and none for the wife. After some surgery, we'll finally (after three plus years) be able to get pregnant.

Sounds about right. We average a bottle of wine a night between the wife and me, along with various guests. Average cost is ~$12/btl since we are aware of our habit... it used to be higher. That's ~$350/mo in wine alone - add in a couple bottles of good booze for weekend pre-dinner cocktails and/or digestifs and about a case of good beer for our guests (I drink some, the wife very little) and we're easily at $400.

Wife doesnt really drink, which I will admit, had put a mighty dent in my intake as well.

But Ill be damned if I cant have myself a G&T on a nice summer afternoon. Lime of course. So bout a handle of that a month and the sporadic PBR sixer so maybe $50. One of my cheaper habits really.

I'm in this neighborhood - don't drink everyday but when I do, I prefer margaritas or other cocktails. Maybe a 12'er and 2 bottles per month tops... so $50 avg per month seems about right. No wine for me, and the wife has been with child off & on for about 5 years now... our bill will no doubt increase when these girls become tweens.

It's gonna be hard to say for awhile. The booze laws just changed in this state and the electorate succeeded in totally fucking themselves. In exchange for being able to buy booze at the supermarket and privately owned stores instead of state run liquor stores we traded a ~9% sales tax for something closer to 30% booze tax. The price per bottle hasn't changed before taxes and fees but I ended up paying $27 for a $20 bottle of Tequila yesterday.

Naked pics of the GF and a bottle of GM are appropriate.

about 400 a month here. But i drink every day pretty much. That # would be much higher when i was younger. Id easily go out and drop at least 100-150 at a bar or club.

I really put some thought into this question.
I do not Drink every day. I sometimes go a week or more without going out.
    I rarely drink at home.

But all said and done I probably blow an overage of 600$ a month.
That does not include the soft costs associated with going out. (Shit you blow money on when drinking)
I suspect that is double the actual cost of booze.
I am single and its mine to blow. But I do go through some dead presidents when I go out on the town

I dropped north of 1,000 two weekends ago. But been sitting on my hands since

I know I spend enough that the owner of my local liquor store gives me a 10% discount off the top on anything I buy, as much free ice as i want anytime I need it (like when the fridge died) and donated $500 worth of beer for Owen's ski race team benefit auction.

I'll probably drop a couple two tree hundred on the keg of Torpedo and other booze for Owen's birthday party Saturday. We gonna get down y'all!
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
