Why not? I mean, once you and your current gf have all those babies, you won't even have time for a USB cable.Quote:

Listen, if it really is the girlfriend that's keeping you from enjoying yourself, then isn't that, in itself, the problem? I think she shouldn't influence you. Listen to cornhole. He knows.
edit: After further thought, I don't think you're thinking clearly about the gf.
Take her along. It'll be like bringing sand to a beach.

I've now learned that drinking is very expensive
there's at least 4 hot chicks
and there may be some skiing way up north, which is likely to be flat.
good rock climbing? attitudes towards casual sex on the first encounter after one drink?
you know if you're that pussy wipped you might as well just stay here. You wouldn't have any fun in sweden anyway.
If you are literally gonna work 14 x 7 for 4 months then don't go. Especially if you're gonna pine away for your master. But remember, you'd be in a socialist country, I don't think the offices are open more than like 20hrs a week.
For the record: This is quickly becoming one of my favorite all-time threads.
Don't let her keep you down, bro. :yourock:
lol, this has gone nowhere fast
marked for deletion shortly, get your shots in now
I hear the masterbating is great in Sweeden in the Spring plus I heard something about an ABBA reunion tour.

Welcome to the OC BITCH!
Damn, glisseur took those pics down! Oh well. If you really want a bit of this, look no further than Finnish girls. Watch out for the sucker punches though.Quote:

Where to sweden are you going to?
It is weird country in that way that in Gothenburg/Stockholm is is more than cosmopolitan. It is Tres Chick. When you go out from there, it might remind of ...well certain parts of canada or around the big lakes in Us (where the are lot of expatriats).
Super safe, predictable, safetyconscious and fresh country. And booring.
If you go either side of the border, east or west, the people aredifferent. Not much but still.
The fjords arent there so you cant go there pining ( I never understood the monty python scetch...) but if you are in the greater Stocholm area, you get to Jotunheim area in norway in 6-8 hours and up to Åre (in where the are good spring skiing) in 5 hrs. Up to Riksgränsen it takes about 8-9 hours, but there you can ski VERY good pieces up untill august. Wíth al lift untill June/July.
If you live in Gothemburg, the norway is even closer.3-4hrs.
The girls are nice, witch you will be staring at only because of the "antrhopological-point-of-view",food is ok, and the people are genrally very, very friendly. In a scandinavian way,not US way. They might not say that much but what they say, they mean it.
But if you go to a smaller place, the Volvo culture might be overwhelming.
The small places can be totally dead.I mean totally.Nothing.
Its like from a horror movie. No bars open after 22 a clock. No kiosk open after 22.No pizzeria open after 22 a.No hotell open after 22.Not the goddam snackmachine AT the hotel open after 22. I wonder why they dont close your
hotelrooms toilets after 22 a clock..
But yes.
Go.
And no.
Dont listen to KQ, DON´T eat Surströmming.
Haggis is a Bigmac compared to that.
Page TWO?
Goddamit you guys are fast.
I bet you wouldn be that fast if the country would be..Belgium?
So? What's it gonna be? Volvos and vulvas or the same ol' song and dance and chaps and shit.
oh shit, I dunno even know if we'll get the project or not! This is months away.
Nice post Meat, sounds like I had better figure out just where this would really be!
Highly amusing thread.
Go!
I wasn't born there, but a bunch of my relatives were. I've been over there - to Stockholm, Kebnekaise and everything in between. As an American traveling in Sweden, I thought it was fantastic. Stockholm was easy to get around in from day 1, the people were friendly, the food was awesome (but again, I grew up eating the stuff), and the scenery was gorgeous.
Plus, the people are HOT. The gene pool is incredibly pure and requires no chlorine. Maybe I would've been hot if it weren't for my Dad's English and German blood ...
I think you should go! It's an adventure for sure, but a great country to get your feet wet with international traveling.
Actually, I'd been to well over 25 different countries before I was 21 or something like that (they don't call me the travelin foo' for nuthin), but still I appreciate the recommendation and general thoughts. Thanks LAN!

This gave me a flash back to Lysekil, very small town. Stayed at work late one night (like a stupid American) and thought I'd leave when the sun went down. Time drags on. The sun starts coming back up, I check the watch, its 1 am, fuk I gotta get some sleep. Drove back the hotel. I was the only car on the road and not a single shop was open, nothing, no dinner that night.Quote:

As for the "Anthropology" subject, well I've heard similar things before about Swedish women.
I think you should go, Cletus! It sounds like a great experience. Not too many people get these kind of opportunities. Plus it's pretty easy to jump on a train and head to other parts of Europe. Isn't Amsterdam relatively close too?
