I agree there's a ton of boring and badly edited gopro footage out there these days. On the other hand, by raging against it and bitching about PoV like the maggot collective does, how much stoke are we missing out on? What if it prevents people from posting their worthwhile edits because they assume people here will just say it sucks?

I've seen some good GoPro edits.

You have to know

A) What makes good footage (hint the GoPro doesn't have to be a POV only)
B) How to edit the clips down
C) How to add music and edit the video to the audio
D) How to export in high-res .H264

Boom, you gotta a decent video if 3-5 minutes max length.
