Krypton Pro fit

Just got my 08/08 Krypton Pros in the mail today (god i love shop form) and they seem pretty sick - gonna get them fitted tomorrow........damn the green is BRIGHT!

Got them fit today - hot damn i love em already can't wait to ski on em tomorrow. For 08/09 they changed a little of it including some of the plastic and they made them like 10x brighter. I thought they were bright this year but they are like neon/glow in the dark now.......gotta roll around in the mud a little......and for size - i wear a 10 sneaker and the 26 shell with ID liners seem to fit perfectly....

is there any difference between a 26 and a 26.5 kryp pro?

i have a line on some 26.5's but im pretty sure i want a 26

also, anyone care to elaborate on this buckle flip/swap? im curious

Had too big Flexons for the last 20 years. Just bought a snug fitting Krypton Cross 26 and normally wear a 10 (sometimes 9.5) skate shoe.

The 26/26.5 are the same shell.

You need a different bale to switch the lower buckles. 1. It makes it easier to buckle. B. No buckle drag in deep/soft snow.

whats a bale? is that the "clasp" the buckle rachets down on?

Clasp. On a 25, you might have to dremel off the top clip, it will hit the tongue.

Phil, where could I get this buckle bale for a Kryp Pro 27

Been skiing Krypton pros all season. Sz 11.5 shoe, 28.5 boot w/ 28.0 intuition.

I'm thinking you're in the right shell. Kryptons have a thick shell and the toungue comes out so it's super easy to work in there & grind those suckers until they fit. I had the same met head squeezing and numbness (26.5 / sz10) - just busted out the dremel tool and went to town, now they are PERFECT.
