I am sad to see Biden drop, I was so hoping he'd get 3rd and push Hilary to 4th. I nominate him for VP, Sec State (which he has already turned down), or Speaker.

For fuck's sake, if I have to tolerate a goddamned Huckabee (OR Romney) v. Edwards choice in the next presidential election, I'm gonna be pissed off beyond belief. Fuck.
I tried curling once! I even kinda liked it!
Ron Paul revolution
I don't think the Iowegians even know that "evangelical" means. Many in IA, to the best of my knowledge, are Lutheran/Protestant following the trends of MN, WI, and ND.
And yes, to answer your 2nd ?, they ARE that backwards!!!! They got taken by slick willy in their "caucauses", the place where they "horse trade" to bring more people to want their candidate.
Iowa doesn't mean a lot. Pat Robertson won Iowa. The Republicans there always go for the evangelical nominee. Democrats: remember Paul Tsongas? No? He won in Iowa, too.
Except in races with an incumbent or a unanimous front-runner, the candidate who wins Iowa rarely wins the nomination. Not saying it's a curse, just that the Iowa caucus has proven itself over time not to be representative of the rest of the country.
It is gratifying to see Giuliani in last place, though. Who would have predicted a month ago that Ron Paul would be in double digits and Rudy would get 3%?
I think it may be different this year at least for the Democtrats simply because Obama was one of the front runners when he won and this will only add to his front runner status. I myself was a Biden fan. I thought he did very well in the debates, but now that he's out I'm not sure who I'll support.
It will be interesting to see who will pull in more idependent voters, Obama or McCain. If the split that could hurt both candidates.
Who the hell votes for Huckabee?
People who love jesus.
But seriously, did anyone listen to his victory speech?? I can see why the RNC hates the guy, he's more of a populist than edwards.
NH is going to be interesting, overnight polling still puts Hillary up by 6%, and with a media cycle die down, the bounce Obama could expect may or may not materialize.
Obama also gave a great victory speech last night, he can really rock the stump. I'm excited about the Democrats chances this year, 100% increase in voter turnout? How fucking awesome is that!?
I'm moving back to NZ if another douchebag asshole like bush gets elected. I can't take that shit for another 4-8 years and neither can this country.
and the big scary answer is the american people!!!!
on one side we have the top 3 with no experience whatsoever for a very challenging world.
on the other side, a baptist preacher.
this country is in very deep trouble if this is the best we can do.
Huckabee as president should scare everyone. Obama will get my vote, but don't count out Hilary just yet.
Can we still vote for Bill?
Creating SChip, turning around the Arkansas public school system, leading the Family Defense Fund, taking tough policy stances in her terms as Senator. The list goes on and on. Hillary has a lot more experience than most who choose to run for president.
Obama, while he is sorely lacking in terms of experience, he does have leadership qualities about him that make him an attractive candidate. If the electorate is voting on the issue of change, he has the capability to bring that. My only worry is that he will get eaten alive by Republican campaign tactics.
Huckabee is scary. McCain is the only republican who doesn't terrify me.
Despite his lack of experience, i think Obama would make a great president- charismatic as hell.
The question I still have is what did Bloomberg and Obama discuss? An Obama/ Bloomberg ticket would be ill. An african american and a jew running the country is titties.
Ron Paul might actually do it in New Hampshire, he's reportedly been rallying hard there & Obama is going in w/ little money and little campaigning there.
We shall see!
