That creek amazes me though, in the lower section there is a salmon fishery wich is one of the largest in the country, if they would just take out a damn the runs would jump from like 3000 kings and 10000 coho to like 30000 salmon, and a ton more trout and dollies damn dams:mad: but for being ravaged be devolopement it still holds native bows

what river were you on akmp. ship creek and if so you are a dumbmother fucker. bristol has the biggest salomon catch for commercail. you dont know shit so go away. anchorage is sweet and good loookin if you dont like it leave.

Umm I never said ship creek has the biggest salmon catch, it has a big catch and is the largest salmon fishery in a metropolitin area, and who the hell was talking about commercial? If theres one this I know about its fish in Alaska. And anchorage is very ugly, much more so then it could be, Imagine a place with buildings that actully have good Achetechture (sp?) nice looking suburbs, grass and plans on the sidewalks instead of dirt and mud. IMO seattle, boston, newyork, and washington DC are all nice cities the only thing that is awesome about Anchorage is the back drop, and the fact that you can catch salmon downtown. And I probably will move away from anchorage when I'm older, and move to SE where the best Salmon streams may have one person on it back country skiing could involve a boat and ther isn't wanton retarted cookie cutter devolopement and crappy wharehouses.
