And FWIW, even though the idea of Palestinians overthrowing Hamas was ridiculed Hamas and Hezbollah are unpopular among key Arab publics. That's one of the reasons why Hamas claims they are fighting for the Al Aksa Mosque and not for the Palestinians. Polls show a majority of Gazans were against breaking the ceasefire. 50% of Gazans agree with the following: Hamas should stop calling for Israel’s destruction, and instead accept a permanent two-state solution:
